Famous Dave's is a BBQ restaurant with award-winning ribs and excellent catering services in the Waldorf, MD area.
We arenât usually barbecue people as my husband isnât keen about chewing on bones and getting his beard full of sauce. But was my turn to pick a place for dinner and I chose Daveâs. We had a terrific dinner. Food was hot and came quickly. Waitress was attentive but not hovering.

Since 1989, Lefty's has been serving barbecue and southern-style cuisine. We are a family-owned business that enjoys serving bold and flavorful dishes. So, stop on by...relax, enjoy the music and southern hospitality. We look forward to seeing you soon!
We wanted to try them out for Sunday dinner, and we're disappointed. I ordered their vegetable platter and the portions were small (3 fork-full) takeout cup sizes. My hubby ordered the whiting fish only (approx. 4 pieces.) The food was tasty, but not a good value considering the price! Their cornbread was the best thing we ate! (I took a picture to upload it the file size was too large. Sorry.) Parking is limited as there are other retail stores in the strip mall and a new Krispy Kreme that took up half of the previously available parking spaces.

Three of us went... The cream of crab soup was great. Each of us ordered a sandwich and were all pleased with out selections. They only have hot or mild bbq sauce so I mix the two together to get a sweet yet spicy taste.
This is the first time to eat at Mission Barbeque restaurant and I was disappointed based on the recommendation from friends. I had the pulled pork and thought I got fat with pulled pork flavor, because basically all could taste was the fat. I did like the cole slaw and the sauces were a good variety. I'll give them another try, but I'm not impressed also don't get the 'moist' brisket if you don't want a lot of fat (~25%)Hi there, thank you so much for your feedback.
