Quaint 13th century style restaurant. Stunning views, great staff and tasty food. Recommend ordering a peke 24 hours before you go as they need advance notice to cook certain dishes. There is no electricity and it is such an amazing experience. The homemade wine is delicious and the fruit and veg are picked then and there for your plate!
Mina beach restaurant & lounge settled on sand beach in Jelsa. Restaurant with most beautiful view, offering variety of food, wines, cocktails....
We (me and my fiancé) visited this restaurant several times during our stay in Jelsa and we just loved it. It has literally everything you could ask for! Absolute top service with nice and friendly waiters/crew (and that is nothing you can count on in Croatia unfortunately), the menu is perfect and offers a lot of nice dishes, the ÄevapÄiÄi was cooked in a different way than the âoriginal wayâ but was just amazing! The furnishings and location is lovely just at the beach, were you can rent sun beds and swim in the turquoise water all day. Not to mention the drinks, wow! So it is a must to pay a visit to Mina beach Restaurant if you are on the island Hvar!Dear guests,Thank You for this amazing review, hope You will visit Hvar Island and Mina Beach again. Best regards

As I mentioned elsewhere (https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g659962-d3445898-r525716285-Konoba_Vrisnik-Jelsa_Hvar_Island_Split_Dalmatia_County_Dalmatia.html), Dalmatian restaurants leave much to be desired.Having this in mind, Arsenal delivers decent quality food by local standards (4 star locally, 3 star globally). We used it mostly for lunch. Stick with meat dishes.

We were pleasantly surprised by the location, the ambiance and the wonderful views that open from many of the tables. Someone has taken care to create a pleasant setting, using local plants to create intimate spaces for several large round tables. While octopus prepared in "peka" (and ordered in advance, per phone) was delicious, grilled squid was not as tender. It is true that service leaves a lot to be desired (were the waiters hired only recently?) But the setting, the food and good conversation can make up for this. A pleasant walk through nocturnal Pitve up to the church above the village completed our pleasant experience that evening. It was a Saturday night, yet the place was quiet, fragrant and very enjoyable. One suggestion: couldn't ladies' restroom be relocated? Being in a sauna (right next to the grill) is not the most desirable experience in summer.

Had an excellent meal.Very relaxed and not rushedAll food freshly prepared and cooked.Fresh fish, pasta and steak on the menu.Wines sold by the glass and locally made.Dessert limited to homemade pancakes and homemade ice cream - could have shared between two.Whilst it doesnât have a sea view owner / cook is an excellent host and the patio garden is nice.

We came here because of tripadviser reviews and it was the best decision. We had dagnje - mussels (a must) and grilled calamari. Waiters were very polite and friendly. We will sure visited this restaurant again these week. Even though we didnât have reservation and the restaurant was full at the time we arrived, they managed to get us a table in no time (we didnât even wait long; 2-3 minutes), itâs true that for two people is easier to find a free table. All best for this restaurant.

In the core of the sunny island of Hvar, in the small village of Vrisnik, there is the family run tavern Vrisnik. Its domestic ambiance and friendly humoured staff will make you wish to return each and every time again. Its blend of pleasant atmosphere an
We actually came to the restaurant two times while our vacation in Hvar. The food was simply amazing, the octopus was soft as butter and it melted in your mouth! You should deffinitly try "hobotnica ispod peke"(you must order 3 hours in advance) and "hobotnica na toc".
