Things to do in Voelklingen
Heard their grill was among the tastiest in the region so drove an hour to try it out. Place looks run down from outside. Inside isn't any better, they did have a flowers pot in the middle of the dining hall, looked out of place and I guess it was probably covering a hole in the floor. 1/3 of the items in their menu they don't serve, no lentil soup even (what Turkish restaurant doesn't have lentil soup at 18:00 on a Sunday????). Waiters seem they couldn't care less. Waited over 30mins for our dishes (still can't figure out why it takes so long to place a piece of meat on the grill). Bread wasn't even self baked, was something two bought wholesale and just heated up on the grill, more lazy you can't get. Toilet was disgusting, don't want to imagine what the kitchen looks like. Was surprised that there were quite a few customer, then again they didn't seem to be the type to care about anything asides price and taste. Grill tastes good, apart from that all else was a complete disaster.

The Kalinski's brothers Kalinski because the name combines everything that is important: Two passionate founder, uphold the tradition and want to expand your fresh ideas. And who want to take their guests on the plate, what it is. Just a good sausage Who
We followed the recommendations and it was a good experience. Fast and Personal self-serving Service. Sitting outside very closed to the main court. The dishes were tasty. Fries a special flavour. The mayonaise and the ketchup beside were kalinski-style we had only there. The salad was ok. But the sourrounding and the options afterwards were closed to. So we could recommend too.

I was very much looking forward to my visit to Gusto steakhouse based on the excellent reviews on tripadvisor. The steakhouse itself boasts a pleasant and relaxing environment, service was excellent and the young Chef was clearly loving his job - a sight for sore eyes! My partner and I both ordered the wagyu burger Kobe style. We were completed baffled however by how this went wrong... both our burgers were raw on the inside and charred on the outside, and the meat was not seasoned whatsoever. Flavors were derived from the mayonnaise and ketchup added to the burger. Same goes for the buns. A large slice of raw tomato and onion was included on the burger, but I personally prefer my onions sautéed before adding them as an ingredient, not cold. French fries on the side were actually very tasty.Dunno what happened, must have been bad luck that evening. But there is just no excuse for ruining excellent meat...

Your restaurant offers meats and couscous that are a speciality of the Maghreb. Professionals at your service. Butcher by trade. We offer excellent meat.

This is a very typical menu of meat, meat, more meat, potatoes and hot peppers just like you would find in the Balkans. There is chopped salad and a couple of fish dishes as well. Do not expect small portions, there is a lot of food on each plate. One order of chopped salad is enough for two. Prices are reasonable although drinks can be a little high. Enjoy the "Slivo": before, after and during the meal.Wait staff is a toss up of either fun or dour, seating is comfy and the entire place is very family friendly. Worth a stop if you have big appetites to feed and are not looking for anything other than plain good food.
