Been coming here for either in restaurant or take-away for 5years, since close to my in-laws house. Pizzas are consistently good, and priced 5-7euro, with either eat in or take away - gives a great selection of pizza (well over 30) - My favourite being the Pazzia, on one of the best pizza bases I have tried. We even buy a couple of have on the drive back to the UK from Udine.

I've been here with a few friends and we did had some risottos as starter and as main dish most of us ordered a Fiorentina (T-bone steak of 800g/900g).Risotto was great, perfectly cooked and delicious. The Fiorentina also was delicious and perfectly cooked. The peculiarity of this place is that they do have the grill in the middle of the room where they do cook in front of you.Service, on the other side, isn't perfect. We asked for another wine and we received another plate, they also wanted to take out plates before we even finish. If you're planning to come here consider 50/60⬠each if you're going to eat a nice steak.

This a great place where you can eat excellent fish that is really fresh! you can see those fishes swimming underneath you when you sit in the "garden"!what we liked:- great house wine- they have also vines from the near agroturismo's - fish is fresh :) - and served in a very nice way- good variety of cheese that you can take for the starter- great deserts - all is served in a very nice way- service is polite- we will come back again and we recommend this placeconsiderations:We had a chance to be there few times; first time we visited it was very busy and we were lucky to get a table, not sure if you can make a booking but could be useful there is not much place to park a carthey speak English communicative and I guess not all ( but Italian would be useful) like anywhere in Italy they are not in a hurry, you get a fresh meal and when restaurant is full you got to be patient I think that prices are quite low for the quality you get - I am not saying that prices should be higher as location of this place is not in heart of tourist place but it's a great place

We ate here for a bithday lunch and was a very pleasent experience. We ate outside in the patio and the weather was sunny but not very hot so we enjoyed our meal. The owners were very nice and friendly, we had affettati misti and meat "alla brace" with vegetables and salad. Everything was very good and for sure we will come back.

I love going there with friends, it's an easy-going restaurants not far from udine. You can taste very good home-brewed beer and a delicious grilled chicken, slightly spicy, with potatoes and bread. There's not much more in the menu but you will have great fun. Please note, you can have nuts for free and throw the shells on the ground!!!

We visited Al Zuc on our route to Venice. It was a perfect Italian dinner experience. We were unsure what to order from the menu so the waiter offered us some home specialities. We had 4 courses for 4 people for 70 Euros and each course was amazing. We could not have asked for more.

"LÃ di Boschet" is a modern version of a typical friulian tavern. The products are top quality ones and the majority of them are local. We want to satisfy all tastes: "meat-lovers", vegetarians, vegans... Moreover "LÃ di Boschet" is also a cozy cafe with

for information for our guests: the Trattoria da TOSO keeps the restaurant o p e n even august and september 2019 with best regards
This is a traditional trattoria with local traditional dishes. It's run by the family and the beauty of it is that you feel like at home, the atmosphere is very cozy. The father is grilling the meat( fantastic) the mother is working between the kitchen and the dining room, the daughter is serving at the table helped by a couple of ladies. It's not fancy but country chic, the right place for real Connoisseur ... I love it and miss it when I'm away.

We dined at Al Cavallino Bianco twice on quiet nights while visiting friends in Friuli, and would recommend it. (We do not know the situation on a busy night.) Anna, a member of the family who run the business, served us. She was very friendly, cooperative, efficient, attractive, and spoke English and German as well as Italian. The dining room was pleasantly appointed in a rustic style with an open fireplace in the far corner. The menu included local Friulian dishes which we found tasty and reasonably priced. Our friends were interested in looking at the accommodation for future visitors. The rooms we saw were crisp, clean, well-maintained and, we thought, moderately priced considering that the tariff included breakfast with freshly cooked items upon request. If you intend staying, you might want to ask for a room away from the Ara Grande church bell tower, which is right next to the building. The Al Cavallino Bianco website (http://www.alcavallinobianco.com/default.asp)is unusually well-designed, accurate, comprehensive and worth looking at for detailed information about the entire establishment. It reveals that the family take pride in their business. Also, we found the Google street view helpful in seeing its exact location.

Of all our travels throughout northern Italy nothing compares to this meal or this restaurant. Mushrooms were at the peak of their season and they knew exactly what to do with them. The antipasto course delivered a beautiful array of dishes including freshly harvested porcini mushrooms, a platter of prosciutto with a complexity of flavors ~ salty, tangy and sweet. The primo course delivered homemade pasta, a rarity in the US! With secondo came the most tender slices of sirloin grilled to perfection seasoned just right over a wood fired grill. I had never tasted something so sublime, so tender it practically melted in mouth. My dessert favorite was the chantilly cream with fresh seasonal fruit but others at the table enjoyed the creme brûlée, white chocolate mousse, and chocolate cake. Espresso is a must!! The family who operate the restaurant are the most gracious, knowledgable, and amazing hosts and truly epitomize the best of northern Italian culture, taste, and style. I wish I had more photos to share but the meal was so enjoyable I didn't want to be distracted. Can't wait to return!
