We were recommended this place by our hotel, and they booked a table for us. If you didnât know this place was here youâd probably drive past it... but what a find/location/ agritourism. The service was excellent the food local and massive portions / great steaks starting at 1kg, They didnât have a menu the day we were there ( a little strange) but the waiter told my wife who translated it to me as sheâs Italian... thus a menu in different languages would of been helpful..There was about 3 entreeâs I recall , 2 steak dishes & too vegetarian dishes and some deserts... we went for the antipasto, a massive board for the 2 of us... the I had a 1.2kg rib of beef & salad ( a shame no chips/potato dish), dessert was ice cream and also biscotti and dessert wine...great homemade beers and local wine. We will probably stay in the accommodation as well next time. Theyâve 3 restaurants on site and a wine bar...Happy days will visit again but now heading home to uk.Than you Dave, it's our pleasure.Hope to see you soon in our beloved Valdichiana

This is (among other things) a great spot to take a lunch break when driving the A1. It's easy to reach, the food is excellent and it's cheap. We had good pastas (inc. vongole, as it was on the weekend) and tagliati.

We really enjoyed the food and wine on our first night in Pienza. Will we be able to better it? I doubt it. We had cheese on toast to start but so nice with truffle or walnuts with it. Then followed by the pica ragu or boar pasta. All great

We have visited Locanda del Baraccotto at 25 of September. It was wedding dinner of our beloved friends.... So, the atmosphere was really cozy and romantic. All stuff were helpful and friendly. Homemade Ravioli with ricotta and pine nuts were delicious!!! Don't miss this place if you will be Lucignano!

Our first night in Tuscany and we had earmarked this restaurant based on previous T/A posts and was absolutely spot on. Everything was perfect. Simple but sublime pasta, great wine recommendation, beautiful garden setting, friendly waitstaff. Could not fault this restaurant. If you are driving, there is no parking next to the restaurant - you need to park down the hill in the 'public' carpark about 200m and then walk back up.

The restaurant was recommended by our Italian friend and didn't disappoint. The burgers were wonderful, it was obvious the quality of meat was exceptional. We had the bacon and cheese, mine was well done as requested and my wife's perfectly medium. Good choice of wines and excellent service. We even got to meet some of the beautiful cows on the way out. Desserts were good too.

Family run restaurant from two generations, Santorotto offers freshely cooked traditional Tuscan food and a selected wine list to compliment the food. Specialising in 'Fiorentina' (big cut steak from the local breed of particularly big cows, called Chiani
The owner cooks himself. The antipasti platter, turkey and beef accompanied by vegetables was the best italien food we ever had. Ask for the vino rosso della casa. The charming waitress is the owners wife. We had a great evening for reasonable prices.

This is the pizza you write home about. Perfect in every way. Makes even the best Napoli style pizza back home in Toronto disappointing. We had the margherita and the cappriciosa (with some lovely anchovies). Amazing. The place has no table service and seems to be a combination grocery and pizzeria. You order at the check out counter on the way in and give them your name. When the pizzas are ready they call your name...as pronounced in the local dialect, so listen carefully!!! Also just grab drinks from the cooler on the left...when you're done, pay at the check out counter. It was slightly confusing but the effort was completely worth it.
