Very good pulled pork barbecue sandwiches. We liked the variety of sauces that we could try. Our server (we got carry out) was very friendly and helpful, but she did forget to give us utensils, napkins, and ketchup. Not a biggie since we ate next door in our room at the Pear Tree Inn.

My family loves Homey's. Great portions, friendly staff, & reasonable price. I can't forget about taste is out of this world! This restaurant is more of a take home & enjoy than an eat at. There are tables.

On the occasion of my birthday jaunt, my wife and I left home right after church and headed east. Our lunch stop was in Terre Haute at Rickâs Smokehouse & Grill. Our first time here; probably not our last. We both had brisket and some sides. Joan reported that her onion rings were very good, as was my baked beans. The potato salad was not to my liking - not because it was bad but to me, an essential ingredient is mustard. But the brisket - very good - perhaps not the very best I have had but I am not complaining. Good texture, taste and smoke and they trimmed the fat about right. They had four kinds of sauce: mild, sweet, sweet heat and hot. I tried both the hot and the sweet heat; the sweet heat was my favorite. With tax and tip: $30.
