We were six adults and two kids in for dinner. Most of the adults wanted bibimbap, so we didn’t sit at the BBQ tables. The mushroom bibimbap was outstanding (but then again, I really like mushrooms). The Neng myun noodles were also quite good. I’m far from an expert on Korean cuisine, but the place was full of Koreans, so I’m thinking it’s probably pretty close to right. Too, the Koreans at our table said the food was nicely done. Service was good (use the buzzer button), and the prices were right - we came out to about $15 per person with a couple of adult beverages included. Will definitely go back when we’re back up this way on the next trip.

The beef bulgogi was nicely prepared, with great sticky rice and six side dishes they refilled. I would have preferred more sauce with the meat, though maybe that's less authentic. The other guests were Korean, so I will assume it's supposed to be this way!The atmosphere was not my taste, with a loud Korean reality TV show dominating the room. At the lunch price I would have been entirely satisfied with the value, but we were informed before ordering that they only do the dinner price on weekends, which means a slightly larger portion and in this case four extra dollars.

My wife and I ordered a hot pot dish with a variety of seafood and noodles. The large pot came out it was an impressive sight. Supported by approximately 9 banchan side dishes (cold appetizers), it was a wonderful meal during winter time. The hot pot is enough to support at least 3 people. Service was prompt when we enjoyed our early lunch meal around 11am.

I’ve been searching for a GOOD BBQ place for a long time. I’ve been looking even longer for one that doesn’t break the bank too. My search is finally over. Let’s start with the look of the place. Small hole-in-the-wall building. To some it make look like a little low end. But that’s the look you want in a great home cooking BBQ place! No commercialization no chain restaurant look. Go inside and it’s a very simple clean look. Small seating area and a bar. The food. The food is served ala cart for the most part. Choose a meat then choose a side. Meats served by weight. You can get a Sandwich which does come with a side. My friend and I sampled all of the meats. Fantastic flavor. Good mix of herbs and spices and then slow smoked. Meat was very tender. Sauces are served on the side to allow you to try different ones and control how much you want. I personally did use very much sauce, I felt the meat stood fine on its own. Cost was much lower than any BBQ place oven been to in a long time. I was able to stuff myself for under $20.This place is definitely a must return for me.
