Food is of very good quality, although limited choice. Very acceptable overall. But prices can easily raise if you go beyong the day's menu or want a full lunch/dinner. Atmosphere can be quite nosy at weekends. Most traditional Catalan BBQ choices are available

This is a great casual place to enjoy with family and friends. You bring your own food and they put the wine, "cava" and wood for the barbacue at a very reasonable price. The good thing is that you enjoy the place it is shady with enough room for kids to enjoy without any danger and you can cook your own barbacue.

Can Quetu Restaurant located in Sant SadurnÃ, offers a traditional Catalan cuisine made with seasonal products. Some of their specialties include roasted vegetables, grilled meats and seasonal calçots.
This is definitely a place where the locals hang out. The atmosphere was loud and wonderful. It was full of families enjoying an incredible meal. We got the 3 course meal. We did not really understand the menu but Montse was an incredibly patient girl and walked us through the menu. We got 2 salad starters, a steak and a bbq plate, and we shared a wonderful Catalan cream dessert (yum!) and a liquer made from the cava wine which we could not find anywhere else. :( The meal came with a bottle of red wine and a large bottle of water and a bottle of cava. It was ridiculously well priced and the food was excellent. Incredible find off the beaten track in Sant Sadurni D-Anois. Thank you so much to Montse and all the wonderful staff!! :)

We found this restaurant quite by chance having parked nearby to have a walk round the town having visited the Freixenet tour. The restaurant looked deserted from the outside but had quite a few guests once we entered. The staff spoke very little english but went out of their way to help. Some of our party ordered from the âlocalâ set menu of 12 Euro and had pasta to start and lamb grill as the second course, a small beer or glass of wine included. Others of our group had pizzas which were good with lots of cheese and toppings. The waiter was happy to provide a pizza box so we could take out the left overs. The only poor comments are the toilets which are downstairs, damp and lacked hand towels and soap. There appeared to be a disabled toilet which was up one or two steps from the restaurant level.

We visited Lavern-subirats as part of a local horse carriage experience and knew that there was a Michelin restaurant in the vicinity. From the onset, the service was horrible. Our local guide helped to ask if there was a table (as we did not have reservations), the lady was arrogant and unresponsive. As the tables inside were full, we ended up sitting on one of the tables outside. There was five other empty tables outside, but she insisted that the table we sat on was reserved and we needed to move to the adjacent. The food was good and the fire oven was a nice touch; but the service was horrible. There were only two servers and they were very unresponsive. We needed the restaurant to call for a taxi for us and it took 25 mins for the taxi to come. When we chased for it (as we needed to catch a train/, they were very impatient and semi-ignored us. The taxi ended up charging us euro20 for a 4min ride, which his taxi meter shows for only 2.45euro. The driver got into an argument with us, citing that the restaurant had told him to bring us to a much further train station and we needed to compensate him for the distance he thought he should have travelled, even though he only drove for 4mins.Do not visit due to the poor customer service
