Find out what Barbecue restaurants to try in Sanremo. With a comfortable climate that varies little throughout the year, Sanremo has been a favored tourist destination since the mid-1700s, attracting visitors from all over Europe, including heavy contingents of Russian and British aristocracy. For many, the long stretch of beach is the main attraction, but don’t miss the impressive casino or the hillside medieval section of town called La Pigna. Every year since 1951, the city has hosted Italy’s popular Sanremo Music Festival.

Amongst the best meat dishes I have ever tasted, along with genuine hospitality to the point that the restaurant staff patiently waited to close the restaurant after we were finished with dinner. In addition to that a complimentary bottle of digestivo was provided in order to round up a simply amazing experience. Complimenti!

No longer seafood place but steak specially. It was good though and the waitress was very kind. She spoke only Italian but made her best to understand our French English Spanish mix!! My steak was delicious - my husband had some pastas which were fine as well. Small place, really low key family style. Grazie

Vittoriale is out of town [Sanremo] and I'd say its rustic rather than posh; and I like it for that. The restaurant is family run, very much part of the local community and as complete strangers we were made to feel very welcome. There is a lovely terrace but as it's a well up in the hills above Sanremo it can be a bit cool if there is a breeze - probably welcome in the height of summer. I visited several times on holiday this year with my wife; the pizzas are good, the local pasta "Taiarin" with Porcini was good and the shellfish soup an experience. If there is a down side it is that the kitchen capacity is limited and they hate to turn people away so when it's busy service can slow down. This happened to me on one occasion but the owner was most apologetic and made a most generous offer of compensation. I left feeling like his most important customer. Happy memories.

I had a mixed grilled meat dish, a focaccia and chips: everything was very good! The focaccia came with a dish of very good italian prosciutto then the grilled meat was very good tasty and quite tender. Everything for a very good price. I will absolutely advise it!

Been at Solentiname several times this summer. Always great food and warm atmowphere. I love the mixed grill but everything I had has been great choise and served by friendly staff. In summer you can sit outside looking over the seaside walk. Rest of the year inside it's a very warm and cosy atmosphere. Great Place!

The food is great. The food that actually arrives at your table. We were there on Easter day, and some of our plates were forgotten, so we didn't eat everything that we ordered. The service was quite slow, maybe because of the special day. Other that, the people are great. The view is good, but it is not of Sanremo. You just see all the greenhouses below. The place and building are beautiful.

In the heart of Sanremo, a few steps from the central market, "Manik - L'Officina del Burger" offers gourmet burgers with high quality meats from Piemont, in various combinations, with homemade sauces and craft beers. Complete the menu a few cuts of quali
We stopped here for a quick lunch and tried the lunch special with burger, fries, drink and coffee for â¬10. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. It was excellent, and the service was great too. Thanks!
