Reviews on Barbecue food in Saint Louis, Missouri, United States. The history of St. Louis has been heavily influenced by Westward expansion and blues music. The big "must-see" in this region is the Gateway Arch, while other important sites include the Museum of Westward Expansion, the St. Louis Cathedral and the Anheuser-Busch factory tour. The city offers plenty for the whole family. Children will enjoy the local zoo and the Magic House, while family members will also want to unwind at Forest Park, home to the World's Fair almost a century ago.

Upon arrival to St. Louis, we asked our Uber driver for his recommendation for BBQ, and he recommended SugarFire. He was so right!! The pulled pork and brisket were amazing. The stop in St. Louis was a small part of our nearly 2 week trip, and this meal at SugarFire was the best meal of the whole trip. Even the side dishes were excellent. One of my favorite things about this place is that they put the meat directly on a sheet of paper (looks like a cross between construction paper and contractor paper), and they serve the sides in little paper holders. This is so much better than generating piles of styrofoam. The price is great too. Don't be worried by the line in front of the restaurant--the line moves fast and you'll get in soon. We would almost return to St. Louis just to go here again!

Award-winning barbecue & Southern specialties served alongside American craft beers.
Great food, unassuming place. This place is a little off the beaten path, but well worth a short detour! The staff is great- seems like everybody does a little bit of everything. They probably aren't family but it has that kind of vibe. The food is extraordinary. I tried the pulled pork, tri-tip, and meatloaf. Great, great and great! Had cornbread in a skillet for starters, amazing. And four great sauces to choose from.Decor is fun, lots of photos of musicians. Any place that has pictures of David Bowie and Buddy Guy can't be bad, right? Honestly, just go there. You'll be glad you did!

Salt + Smoke, BBQ Bourbon and Beer sources and smokes the best BBQ in town! We make everything from scratch from our fries to pies and can help you wash that delicious food down with any of our over 300 beers and whiskies!
The reviews got us in the door, the great food and speedy service have us wanting to return! Deviled eggs with bacon and toasted ravioli were a hit. St Louis ribs were tasty and the mac n cheese worth every calorie! Easily a shareable meal when you pair it with appetizers. Definitely a hotspot in the University area however the clientele was a mixture of everyone! Students, families, couples, you name it. Parking is limited.
