As a first time visitor to downtown Riverside, I was happy to discover this 30 year old establishment located between the Convention Center and the Mission Inn. The Combo plate includes two entrees, two sides and corn muffins for $26. There were 3 of us and we shared two Combos, so we were able to try a multiple of things. Delicious! although, I agree with other reviewers that it was pricey.

Although the food is good, not sure I'm a big fan of all the raw meats on ice at a kiosk for customers to get themselves. Too many opportunities for cross contamination. Most of the Korean BBQ restaurants I've dined at, the service staff bring the meat to you from the kitchen, where it is handled by the professionals. The other options on the buffet line were great. Of the meats we tried, the Bulgogi and Spicy Chicken were the best. The bay scallops were way too small the grill at the table. They did drink refills and changed the grill out a few times. However, all the dirty plates were on a cart right next to the buffet line. As well, the ice cream my wife had was very soupy.

On this visit we tried various "standard" BBQ items offered. All were tasty and well prepared. Prices were good for what we got, and nobody in our party was dissatisfied. All items were pretty standard type things. Not sure what they can do here, but they need a little something in the way of a food items or special or something to distinguish them a bit more. Will come back.
