Had dinner there and it was wonderful. Food was delicious and service was excellent and friendly. Had a great variety of food so if you don't want BBQ there are many other choices. Desserts looked delicious but we were all to full to have any!

I usually get the crown ribs and have three meals! Cheesy Corn is always a favorite as well. You won't go away hungry. Thank you for taking the time to write a review!

I have been to this restaurant on a couple occasions. Previously, I have had no complaints except I have always found the servers to be trending toward a slightly rude attitude (no different this time). Our party of four went to a late dinner. We were seated quickly, but the place felt a little âstickyâ and in need of a good cleaning. It was so smoky (not visibly) that at least 3 of us complained later that our clothes smelled of smoke. Before you tell me that this is a barbecue joint, rest assured that I have been to plenty of places like this and rarely, if ever, have I ever had to wash my shirt to get the smoke smell out of it. Drinks are well-made, but the food was just not there. Two of us ordered pork spareribs only to have the waitress return to our table and tell us they were out. I really canât believe that a barbecue joint would run out of ribs. Are you kidding? I had lamb ribs for something different and they were pretty tasty, though the overall experience of the sauciness of all the food was a little over the top. Burnt ends tended to be overly fatty. As you can surmise, I was underwhelmed and a little disappointed. This restaurant will remain on peopleâs lists of barbecue places to go when in Kansas City. For me, I think this may have been my last time.Hello! Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback - It helps make our team better. Call restaurant before we went. Was told they had gluten free options. Upon arrival told waitress we needed gluten free options what were the gluten free options. She tried to recommend the breaded fish. When ask what it was breaded with, she said they use flour. Explained in detail to her what gluten was. So she said all meat was cooked without anything on it. So decided to try the rib tips with a plain baked potato and ask her to inform the cook of the allergy. When food came out it had bread under the rib tips. Explained again could not have any form of gluten or food that has been exposed to gluten.Manager came over and was very nice, he said they would fix the rib tips and ensure they were in a different area from food prepared with gluten etc. He also said he could not guarantee that the beans were safe as they were prepared in a factory that delivered to them.Ate the plain potato and tried some rib tips when the new ones came out. Not sure what it was but tasted funny. That night got very sick, which told me there was cross contamination. The other guy who did not have gluten allergies got the rib tips. His was very dry and tough, he goes there and said it was the worst he had ever had. He was not able to eat it. The third person got the ham chunks which he said were ok, not great. Later that night and all the next day he had very nasty gas.Definitely could not recommend
