There are so many things to like about Johnny's it's hard to know where to begin. So, I'll just list a few: There are many variations of BBQ, steaks and burgers and sides beginning with the basic Barbecue Pork plate and ending with their delicious Key Lime Pie. Their service is just fantastic, with your order brought quickly to your table by some of the prettiest and most delightful young ladies you'll ever meet. They're very efficient, too, as they come by to check on your meal and bring more iced tea without having to ask. There is a LOT of fascinating Southern memorabilia that includes antique road signs, license plates, and an operating G-scale Southern Railroad train that circles the dining room delighting young kids and old. Besides the excellent restaurant, there is also Collette's County Store where you can find all kinds of quality western wear and clothing for the outdoors. Oh, and if you happen to be a knife collector or just like to look, there is a very complete collection of famous Case brand pocket knives on display throughout the restaurant. Plenty of things to see and delight you in addition to the wonderful meal you will enjoy and served fast if you're in a hurry. Treat yourself to a nice lunch or dinner at Johnny's.

Ribs. Pork. Chicken. Brisket. Hell, even sausage. All BBQ has the same three basic ingredients: smoke, meat and time. What makes it different is the amount, consideration and attention to each part of that recipe. That, and some really great bbq sauce, to
Group of 10 people. Waitress was attentive and got the order correct. Brought beverage refills without being asked. Food was very tasty and everyone enjoyed their lunch. The little muffins they serve before the meal are addictive!

Wallaceâs is one of the finest places in Cobb County to eat authentic Barbeque at a reasonable price. The sandwiches are always amazing, either pork or beef. The dinners are great and they include french fries or baked potato, salad or slaw and come with two rolls. The ranch dressing is great. They have many options to choose from so if you have children or family that are not Barbeque eaters, there is something for everyone. Donât forget to pick up a few fried peach or apple pies to take home and enjoy. The service here is southern and the staff are the kindest folks youâll find. If youâre looking for a fancy place then donât go here! Enjoy!

Any local BBQ place is 1,000 times better than any national fast food place... having reminded you of this, Happy Hawg is a fine place with good people offering a fair price for their food. The thing is, the foo, while good is just that good. It's not awesome. My advice, if you are in the area and like local BBQ places go and enjoy. However, I don't recommend you drive a great distance if, like me, you wiull drive a long way for BBQ.

New Atlanta Style BBQ - Full Service Restaurant using the best cuts of meat and poultry and taking the time so slowly smoke with sweet hickory is the way to do it! We offer a full-service, dine-in and take-out, including barbecue, ribs, brisket, pork chop
They spent way too much money decorating this place and not enough hiring competent staff. After two visits (I live nearby and really wanted to give the place a chance) I can say without a doubt the food is not good enough to warrant the high prices and annoying customer service. On my first visit they shorted our takeout order by two sides and when I called to complain the female manager hung up on me. Just to be sure, we went in on a Saturday night and the service, food and overall experience were less than satisfactory again. Too bad, because the place has an outdoor patio with a fireplace that could be fun when things cool off a bit this fall. The question is, "Can they last that long so we can try it out?". BBQ places come and go pretty quickly in this area so I imagine the competition is fierce. But on to the food, on the first visit they had a Brisket Tips lunch special that was really good (the only other BBQ items that were good on the second visit were Brisket variations) which is why we went back after getting shafted on the sides. We were disappointed to find the Brisket Tips weren't a regular menu item. The St. Louis Ribs were small, dry and had some strange spice in the rub that ruined the taste. Ditto for the BBQ beans, weird spices (was it cumin?) screw up the flavor. I lose patience with all the experimentation that tries to improve on classic comfort food, and why can't anyone put green peppers in their beans? Has no one cooking ever been to a Southern family reunion? Green peppers are a required ingredient in baked beans. The collards were good, though vinegary, which is how I like them. The brunswick stew was tasteless and required BBQ sauce to be edible. On a positive note, the tiny corn muffins were better than expected, just too small. Portion sizes were stingy all around, something which fixed which could offset the high prices. Dinner for two cost over $50 which is too much when you're eating out of paper cups. If they dropped their prices 20%, got rid of the oddball spices and added some better, meatier ribs this place could make a go of it, but based on the attitude of the staff, that's probably not happening."SouthernFoodFan": Thank you for visiting us and for taking the time to leave us an insightful review. We are glad you liked our brisket, collard greens and corn muffins! We recently have made some changes in the kitchen staff and the few new-business-opening-hiccups are being fixed as well as we continue in this journey to serve our community. Regarding our prices, we have one of the lowest prices in town! We have 6.49 lunch specials, sandwiches from 6.49 and platters starting at 8.99! - Hope this helps next time you visit us. And yes, we will be here in the fall! You are more than welcome to come and enjoy our (pet friendly) patio! It was a pleasure to serve you and hope to see you again soon!
