Nice place to stop and enjoy some drinks, the lovely views and the beach. Service was OK, nothing special. Would prefer to have my wine served in plastic wine glasses rather than throw away plastic cups. Appreciate they won't want to use real glass, but plastic wine glasses are a sensible compromise.

Visited here on our week away with our family and really enjoyed the food, the staff and service were brilliant. The only concern we had was it would have been a better experience without the grandchildren as they did not really appreciate their surroundings. We would have enjoyed it better if we had been on our own

Sottoprua

Grill & food, meat and fish. Cocktail and wine bar, exclusive lounge cafe into the garden with the "Officine" staff. Relax in a natural oasi called "Calich Lagoon"

We visited as a family for lunch. The restaurant is situated in a very picturesque location overlooking the remains of the old Roman bridge at Fertilia. All tables are outside, mostly under large canvas sails. There is also a large outdoor barbecue. As well as the main dining area, there are also tables and chairs scattered among the pine trees. I would imagine that these are very popular in the evenings for drinks and/or eating although midges and mosquitoes might be a problem in the warmer months. The food is typically Sardinian. We all enjoyed the seafood options and the rustic potato chips - the best we have had in many months. The waiter was very friendly and helpful. The food was very good value for money.

Oblong pizza! I know - beyond belief. Not round ones like usual. These are rectangular ones. Yes, straight-edged!!!What's the world coming to? It gets worse. They're for sharing and you choose your own topping and they serve them on a board with your topping on one bit and someone else's topping on a different bit. Even the wife went to pieces when our oblong pizza arrived and offered me some of her side. It was very good even though it had anchovies and capers and was a salty as the sea. She didn't spit mine out despite it having rocket leaves as a topping. An unassuming shop front but it leads to a huge seating area with a stage and live music. We weren't allowed in the main section and had to sit in the overflow area near the front door. Just as well as the 'turn' was murdering Beatles, Rolling Stones and Bob Dylan classics. The pizzas were very good despite having a straight-edge. Service was slow.It will never take off over here. We like our pizzas round. Imagine going in Pizza Express and finding oblong pizzas on the menu. Ha!What do you mean they already do them? Really? I'll get me coat.

Alloggi e cucina tipica sarda nel cuore della nurra di sardegna

Had a great evening here with friends. The place isn't as hard to find as many other agroturismo in Sardinia. The highlight of the meal for us was the ravioli which was just superb. The pork was also wonderful and the fresh ricotta with honey was also very good. The service was friendly and most helpful. The owner even offered to drive some of our party to Alghero when their taxi failed to show up.
