Full Moon has a long, delicious history of great Southern-style 'que made in the time-honored, traditional way - with quality meats cooked low and slow over a hickory wood-fired pit and spiced with a mouthwatering, award-winning bar-b-que sauce. We are fa
Dined here upon the advice of the desk clerk at the Hampton Inn. The pulled pork was moist and tasty, brisket was juicy and flavorful. Sauce was good, but prefer mine served on the side.Mac and cheese just ok (not cheesy enough), greens were really good. Staff was friendly and efficient and inquired numerous times if everything was good. Iâd stop again.

Ribs. Pork. Chicken. Brisket. Hell, even sausage. All BBQ has the same three basic ingredients: smoke, meat and time. What makes it different is the amount, consideration and attention to each part of that recipe. That, and some really great bbq sauce, to

I had my first Golden Rule BBQ sandwich when I was a teenager in the late 50s...And I loved it!!...But, not living in Birmingham, I have only visited intermittently over the years. However, now my grandson lives in Birmingham, and he took me to Golden Rule (his favorite lunch place)! It was just as I remembered.... that great wood smoked smell when I walked in... and a big sliced delicious pork sandwich ... and a big glass of sweet tea! It was a joy to see that some good things go on from generation to generation!!

Aside from Buddy's great slow-cooked pork and meats in a pit, they do great hamburgers, fries, and especially onion rings. My wife and I really love Buddy's potato salad, coleslaw, and baked beans. We can make these at home, but the way they do it is so close to our recipe, it's just easier to buy it from them...always fresh and hand-made. We're not dessert people, but these are available, tooBuddy has been in business for a generation and has lasted because he does good food right.

Slow smoked Bar-B-Q, sweet Southern hospitality in a relaxed atmosphere. All scratch-made trimmings, fabulous salads, rolling-pin-fresh pies and famous for our cheese biscuits. Full bar, catering, private dining, outdoor seating, drive-thru, to-go all ava
When I arrived and went in there was a man who seated me who wasn't very friendly. He seemed like he needed a vacation. The waitress was right to my table, brought drink and took order. I had a salad and baked potato. Both were delicious as we're the cheese biscuits. The biscuits had more of a texture of muffins. They were very good. The restaurant was clean. Waitress very nice, had a great smile. Most definitely would recommend.

I am not a Rib afficionado. Traveling from Nashville to Pensacola wanted to try some real southern ribs. Full Moon recommended by a friend. Price reasonable. Never saw ribs with so much meat on them, done perfectly and tasty. Loved their baked beans and potato salad. Corn muffin was tiny and dry. Wish we had them in the Northeast
