I've said it before and I'll say it again in case management decides (finally) to listen: If you're gonna serve BBQ, you need to offer a Bock. Shiner Bock. Michelob Bock. Any Bock. Bocks and BBQ go hand-in-hand.Today's Modelo Especial was flat.Burger was cooked as ordered. Fries were crispy as ordered. Unsweetened tea was good.BUT the chair I sat in almost collapsed because it needs to be tightened. Here's a suggestion: Check chairs regularly and tighten as needed to prevent injuries and lawsuits. I took it upon myself to swap my chair for a chair from another table. It too was in need of tightening. We do this at home every couple of months -- with only two diners. It should be done regularly in restaurants. Also, I snagged my blouse on the corner of the table. First time I ever wore the blouse. The table needs to be sanded. Here's a suggestion: Maintain your restaurant! Check table corners and sand as needed. We used to love to stop in at Big Bubba's Bad BBQ for a late lunch after driving in from Las Vegas, but the menu has changed; service has deteriorated; prices have escalated and maintenance isn't being done at all. We decided today that this was our last visit. Paso Robles has a lot of restaurants. We're 'over' Big Bubba's.

Youâll find us in downtown Paso Robles servinâ delicious California BBQ: tender tri-tip grilled over local red oak wood, dry rubbed ribs with our own Pit Masterâs Choice seasoning, slow-roasted pulled pork, specialty burgers, salads, and other Golden Stat
This is a very casual restaurant - order at the counter, pour your own soda and the food is brought to you. The ambience is ok and the service friendly. The problem was the ribs we ordered, albeit a very generous portion, cooked nicely and tender, were very, very salty. After we scraped the sauce off the best we could they were edible. The cole slaw I ordered was ok except that the greens were swimming in excess dressing. My wife's green salad was simply ok.Unfortunately, the overly salty ribs won't bring us back.Hi SWJ, Thank you for visiting and taking the time to write a review, I appreciate your feedback. We take customer reviews seriously and hearing that your ribs were too salty isn't what we want to hear. I'll pass your comments on to the manager and chef. If you'd like to try the ribs again or something else, we'd appreciate the chance to apologize in person and make it up to you. Please contact Kris, the manager, to set it up or stop in and ask for him. [email protected] or 805-221-5991.

We feature delicious, scratch made wine country BBQ, including our award winning Mac & Cheese, Smoked Tri-Tip, salads, appetizers, desserts and Craft Beer and Local Wines.
We were craving bbq and so happy we found Jeffryâs. The meat sandwiches + Caesar salad hit the spot and our kids were super happy. We went home purchasing some signature bbq sauce which was delicious. Bottled in a mason jar, the perfect experience. Food came out quickly + was delicious. Note that itâs closed on Wednesdays.
