This joint sells three main courses that are really three versions of the same thing (grilled beef) with four 'extras' that are four versions of the same thing (water and milk). The interior deco is uneventful, the tables and chairs uncomfortable and the talented owner managed to make four spelling mistakes on the English 'menu' which consists of twenty five words (someone please tell him that google translate is a free service and that he should take a look at it). I really hope he dedicates more time to choosing his meat suppliers than he did at preparing the English menu but my guess is as good as yours on this front. The cevapi are dry, there is no adjika sauce (only the awful industrial powder and black pepper and salt), no cabbage or any parsley or dill to make the kajmak more intersting.Even the bread is not as good as that served in the holes in the walls around town (where you pay 100 dinars less for roughly the same portion). The servers are efficient but I have no idea why they are needed to write orders. I mean there are just three items on the menu, wouldn't it be better to just have a cashier and order to then pick it up from the counter?

The staff in this restaurant is amazingly kind. My boyfriend and I have been having some difficulties with parking in the street and the waiter agreed to help us out. Also, he was very helpful with helping us pick out what we wanted to eat. The fish is excellent, and the portions are large. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Novi Sad. The outside terrace is just the cutest and gives you a feeling like you are in a different city and culture. Great place!

Salaš 137 is a unique place if you wish to enjoy in local food and drink, authentic environment and local ethno music. It is a concept on which this Salaš establish its cuisine and social life.
Since the moment I stepped inside I was welcomed by very polite staff and shown to my table which had nice decorations. Waiter politely walked us through the menu and helped us decide on what to order because offer is too big to decode yourself. Atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to feel traditional Serbian food and also beauty of the countryside.Thank you very much for sharing nice impressions for Salas 137! Hope to see you soon again. Best regards!

We went to dinner here about 3 hours after we arrived in Serbia. It was an excellent introduction to grilled meats and hospitable people - something we would encounter a lot in the next two weeks. Our waiter was super friendly: practicing his English, giving us tips on where to go out and recommended that we try chicken kebabs wrapped in bacon. Not something I would normally order, but turned out to be some of the most moist and tasty chicken I've had in a long time. All the food was excellent and a really good value. The atmosphere was fun and the place started to fill up with locals around 10pm. Someone brought over a bird in a cage to a table with a child - no idea what was going on, but it brought a smile to my face!Thank you Talia.

Previous reviewers were right - don't be put off by the location (opposite a football stadium) or the walk to find this restaurant, it is one of the best in the city!Professional and prompt service, comfortable seating in both indoor and outdoor areas, delicious food (try the cheese spread listed at the bottom of the 'side salad' section and the blueberry dessert!) at reasonable prices.

In the summer this is a lovely place to dine with great ambience. It is extremely good value. Beware! The meals that are the main course meat dishes are huge and itâs best to share these. In contrast, the salads were small and I was particularly disappointed in the very ordinary beetroot salad that was just slices of beetroot. Service was excellent.

Despite the playful appearance, simple, nice pub, with great food, music and hospitality. We started in 2005 with the idea to remind local people to good old days when life was slower and more time was devoted to enjoyment and relaxation. The aim was also
I knew it was a bad sign when the waiters and kitchen staff were sitting around upstairs during evening service. Nevertheless, we were hungry and eventually managed to rouse one of the waiters into taking our order, whilst his prodigy seemingly did little other than rinse glasses. The food, passable salad apart, was incredibly oily - meat, potatoes and vegetables were dripping in the liquid fat. My friend was ill as a consequence and I felt a touch dodgy. Avoid like the plague.

We come to Novi Sad for EXIT or Tamburica Fest almost every summer, and this is by far the best ethno-resto around. Gorgeous rustic decor, scenic views of both Petrovaradin Fortress on one side and the Danube on the other, with the sun setting across the river. Reasonably priced, excellent food and service. Zvonko Bogdan's musicians sometimes play old town favourites on weekends at your tableside. This place is charming and provides an unforgettable Serbian dining experience, with specialties from both the Serbian and Hungarian culinary traditions of Vojvodina. There are other fantastic restos in town and around, but this one is on our must-do checklist whenever we are in Novi Sad.

There isnt much to say here. If you love burgers you should not miss this place when in Novi Sad, also, you should try the Pljeskavica which is basically a "Serbian Burger", usually filled with cheese and bacon, daaamn. Only downside to this place is that they dont take credit cards, so take cash with you. Prices are around 3-5 euros for burgers. And yea you can actually choose if you want ur burgers, rare, medium rare or well done.
