Just like visiting your aunt that lives hours away, customers are greeted upon entry by one of the sweetest ladies you will ever meet. Orders are taken there, and you are able to self-seat following placing your order. The dining room itself is simple, yet clean. All tables contain metal buckets that contain 3 different sauces (all marked) and a giant roll of paper towels. Beverages are self serve. The food gets delivered to your table... fast! I have visited this place 2 times and probably waited no more than 5-10 minutes each time for my food to arrive. Portion sizes are great and the taste is even better. Price is on par with the food being served. A platter with my choice of 2 sides was around $19. Worth every penny if you ask me. When finished eating, simply walk away and your table is cleared for you. I have done extensive traveling and have eaten in many different establishments. For these reasons I feel justified when saying that this is a really cool restaurant with really good food. Visit and see for yourself! Warning: Lansdale is one of the few towns that still has coin metered parking on the streets. Street parking is the best option for this restaurant. Either bring quarters or ask for change inside. 4 quarters equals 1 hour of time as of the posting of this review.

We had semi private room behind the bar. Service was excellent. French onion soup was some of best I have ever had - filled with cheese and delicious broth. The ribs were meaty and very tender. I'm going back today for lunch.

I met some Korean friends for lunch at Koko's Korean BBQ. I enjoyed a very tasty meal of a hearty miso broth along with small dishes of kimchee, greens and tofu, spicy radish, and black beans and sesame seeds as appetizers followed by Bibimbap in a hot stone pot (dolsot bibimbap). As as vegetarian I was initially unsure as to whether there would be a sufficient variety of dishes for me to choose from, but that was quickly resolved after a brief look at the menu. My friends suggested the dolsot bibimbap, and I was pleased with a steaming stone bowl of crunchy familiar and unfamiliar veggies with purple rice topped with a cooked egg. The addition of a small amount of a spicy red sauce made my lunch a special treat. I hope to return as the food and service were quite good. An added treat is the fact that the restaurant is next to ASSI, an enormous Korean grocery/produce market.

Had a terrible experience last visit but spoke with GM Jason Lewis, and he asked me to try SB again. We did and had a totally different experience with great ribs and wonderful, attentive service just like we've always had. Glad we went back and gave them another try.
