This restaurant just changed hands and the food quality has not declined...in fact, it was great! We went for brunch but you could still order off the regular menu. I ordered the eggs and biscuits/gravy. Good eggs and gravy...the biscuits could be crispier and larger for the amount of gravy you get. The Hoe Cake was amazing...takes 20 min so order right away...well worth the wait!! My husband had the brisket sandwich and it came loaded with meat. Itâs also cool that they put all their homemade sauces on the table to try.

This is the third time eating here when visiting Santa Clarita. The restaurant was busy but we were quickly seated. The portions were large. The meat was cooked perfectly per our desired request. Our waiter gave us good service.

Thereâs not much to say other than Southern Smoke has figured how to move Texas to Newhall. Simply amazing quality and ingredients ,that will satisfy the most discerning barbecue veteran.Sam and staff have developed a true Texas Barbecue Restaurant that continues to amaze.Excellent brisket both wet and dry , pulled pork and a sausage selection all expertly done. Full bar and an abundance of various sauces to tempt the tastebuds.Drive to Newhall and have an experience .

I crave the garlic lemon chicken and BBQ chopped salad. The family deals they have are great for those nights you want to pick up dinner to take home for the family without having to cook. It's delicious and healthy. It's a great lunch place with a relaxed and casual atmosphere.

Stopped in for dinner and was pleased.Very good service, although the restaurant was fairly busy at the time. Exceptionally friendly.Thought the prices were a tad high, but food was pretty good.
