June 12, 2014We worked most of the long morning from 7AM until 1PM and were starving so we were looking for some place close by where we could walk quickly and grab a bite to eat. So we walked maybe the equivalent of two blocks downhill from our hotel Apart Hotel Serrantes and popped into this place for lunch.Basically the place caters to tourists. So if youâre looking for a unique Brazilian experience where the locals hang out donât bother. It is located right across the street from the beach and ocean so this place is all about good views where the tourists burning themselves on the beach can pop in for lunch.Sun Meat Beans RiceSun Meat Beans RiceThe place was clean looking. The service was quick and attentive. For the most part the food was good. We wanted a pizza but they donât fire up the pizza oven until the evenings so we settled on the âSun Meat for Twoâ which basically is a bottom loin prepared churrascaria style where it is carved tableside. The meat was well prepared, not overly salty like most churrascaria stateside in the U.S. Sides include the mandatory white rice and black beans served with just about every meal in Brazil. Also included is potato salad, pico de gallo, french fries and farofa that is like a cornmeal you can sprinkle over your roasted meats and stews as a flavor enhancement. We had a filling meal that was pretty well prepared for the bargain price of $35.00 after conversion (80,96 Brazilian Real).Conclusion: a decent place for lunch that I wouldnât hesitate to revisit but I wouldnât go out of my way.

I ate here twice. Friendly and fast service. Good selection on mainly seafood based dishes. I had one really delicious meal here, the shrimp in pumpkin shown in the photo and one very average meal of fish cakes. It is in a good location overlooking the malecon of Punta Negra.

We only wandered in to have a bite when the place opened and have become regulars ever since. It's not a gourmet, fancy restaurant, it feeds hungry people at the end of the day with an absolutely delicious, really big meal. We have tried a variety of sandwiches, but the one they should display on their logo is the bejrute. Soft pita bread filled with melted cheese, tomato, lettuce and your choice of meat cooked in a silky, magnificent sauce (my mouth is watering as I write). Dip into the sauce made based on their secret recipe (molho verde, a green sauce) with herbs and garlic and order a serving a french fries that they cook in garlic oil or something similar for a genuine taste. The place is otherwise simple with aluminum chairs and tables, but the staff is really nice (they already know us and our favorites) and you definitely won't leave hungry.

Very nice place! Observant staff, very humble... Best meat that weâve had during our three week vacation. Seems as people go to camaraoes , but this place is outstanding compared to the place across the street. Very good meet, especially the filet mignon or the carre cardeiro.

I have been in Natal since 12/13 and we have had dinner here at lease 6 times so far.Great value and eat as much as you want.Food is a 10 and they offer all kinds of different foods and the meat is so good. They offer all kinds of meats and chicken and pork.Best value.

This is nice restaurant with all you can eat BBQ ( Rodizio) , but not only that, this option includes a nice buffet of typical northeast and Natal area food! So it is a good idea for all people tourist or not. Service is ok, it does what is supposed to in timely manner.

One must eat carne de sol to know what it is. We had a filet mignon (beef tenderloin) of carne de sol with macaxeira fries, green beans and farofa. Unforgetably good. The location is beautiful, with a nice view to the ocean. Service is attentive and careful and the food is a dream. Do not miss it.

Located in ponta Negra, basic place inside, staff very good that the only positive, the meat is too much salty, dry and without taste, the accompagnement are terrible rice with bad taste, pasta overcooked, yuka so dry, cheese so salty too, overall not a good experience.
