Real Italian dishes served by experienced staff.The ambiance: bright lights/ neons. This was a surprise but the locals go there for the food and the great service. And the food and the staff were outstanding.The food: well I just said it. I was looking for a real Italian restaurant and this was it. Try pasta Fiore you won't regret it.The staff: these 2 gentlemen made it so much fun.Lots of nearby parking. Prices were reasonable.

Turned an old garage into a BBQ/grill restaurant. Using locally sourced meats and veggies, this is a wonderful spot in the heart of Chianti area. San Pancrazio is a darling village, a bit off the beaten track, which makes it all the more special. Grilled meats and vegetables, tables outdoors or inside, without pretentiousness of other spots. This is the real thing.

We visited this beautiful restaurant this week during our stay and had the best food of our whole trip in Italy. We both opted for the steak with green peppercorn sauce and after the first mouthful we were in heaven! It was beautiful. We had a great table in the outdoor seating area, which has spectacular views over the rolling hills of the Tuscan countryside. The service we received was impeccable ... extremely friendly and welcoming. Next time we're in Tuscany, this place will definitely be on the agenda. Well done to everyone at Il Gusto & Il Tatto. Thank-you for the wonderful experience. I love it when restaurants get in right in every way.

Good atmosphere, fine starters and wine, pasta for the vegetarians and a standing rib roast that almost converted those party-poopers to the carniverous life. Marco and his staff speak impeccable English and advise the guests about what size standing rib roast is right. Then the meat comes to the table, perfectly seasoned and grilledn on a litle brazier to keep it warm. This is the authentic bistecca alla fiorentina, not the nonsense in silly portions that the tourists have. We passed this restaurant every time we left our Agriturismo in Gigliola, but we ate here only once. The terrace has a breathtaking view of the vineyards in the area and the atmosphere inside is cozy.The menu offers an excellent deal that we took. The antipasti are delicious and the grilled meat that was the next course exceeded our expectations. You also get some drinks included in the price!The service was friendly and professional. We should have eaten here more often. Maybe we will be back next year!

I really liked the pace! I am from Spain and l went there for a couple of days with my girl friend! The room and food where fantactic! Visited last night about 21.00, staff very friendly and accepted our limited Italian vocabulary and were extremely attentive. Our waiter was very helpful explaining all of the menu to us. Starter, wild boar & porcini ragu pappardelle (shared). Main, t bone steak (1.2 kg) fries & zuccini & aubergine, this was 'ottimo' ! Not to mention very filling (shared). Desert/pallet cleanser, a glass of limoncello and mint over crushed ice, amazing fresh drink. As it was getting cooler the waiter brought over a shawl for my partner to put on, very nice touch. With soft drinks, water & coffees 'il conto' was 81 euros, bearing in mind that the 1.2 kg steak was 48 this was very good value for money. Many thanks to all the staff for a very memorable evening.

What we loved:The view, the playground for children, the atmosphere, the owner positive attitude, most of the dishes.What we ;The slow service, the wait and getting our main courses 20 min apart between the first and last one.One or two additional waiters would make this restaurant quite an unusual and enjoyable place. Great restaurant in the small town in Montagnana We rented a villa half mile from the restaurant and visited it twice during our two week stay in Tuscany. Great Beefsteak Florentine, wonderful wine list at very low prices. The steak prepared rare tastes like no other beef. So juicy and with so much flavor.The place opened in 1938 and our waiter has been working there for 42 years.Mostly filled with local residentsWorth a visit!
