Its population was 150 as of the 2010 census. The community is situated 6 miles (10 km) northeast of the city of Blue Ridge, the county seat, 80 miles (130 km) east of Chattanooga, Tennessee, and 100 miles (160 km) north of Atlanta. It is the location of Mineral Bluff Depot, listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

This is a small restaurant, with a limited number of tables. If you are lucky enough to snag one you won't regret it.. and if you can't, just get the BBQ to go! ;) Had lunch here again recently and the briscuit was fantastic. Nice and tender, no knife needed which is how it is supposed to be!! Service is always fantastic and quick!! Love this place!

been there many times and food was not consistently the same as when they first opened. Still good. Biguns is better, Jasper.Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. Unfortunately, you are not the only one that has mentioned our lack of consistency lately. Please know that we are addressing these issues and training the staff. We also love Bigun's! They were one of the inspirations for Tom opening his own restaurant. We appreciate your comments and hope to show you better consistency in the future.

We found this place on our drive into Murphy-NC. Took a chance and stopped in. The service was great, and the food was even better. The ribs were my favorite. The salad bar was so fresh and loaded with options. The had daily special which included roast beef with gravy that fell apart it was so tender.

This may not look like much from outside, but we had a fabulous meal as a family. The service was great, place was very clean, and prices reasonable. Plus the food was great!! We had fried chicken, the pork, chicken and brisket, and a burger. Everyone enjoyed their food...and left very full! We added a banana pudding as well...great!! Will be back for sure!

Trying to decide what to order was the hardest part! Everything sounded good. My husband and I both had the pulled pork sandwiches which were great. The fried okra was very good and the brunswick stew was fabulous! I loved the slightly spicy kick it had. I will have to add that to my recipe. We will stop here again, the next time we are in the area because there are many more items I want to try!
