Three courses for 12 euros with a daily changing menu. Surely this place can't be much good? Well this must be the best value on the lake as we have had many meals here over the last few years and have never been disappointed. The pasta is homemade, the sauces are extremely tasty and it is a full size portion (as was the Parma ham and melon). Last time there we had for mains a meat skewer and a whole baked fish, served with potatoes and salad, then finished with fresh fruit salad and apple strudel. The service was first class and the view of the lake from the terrace was amazing. The bill was 43 euros including a bottle of wine and sparkling water. We were recommended to dine here and we were certainly not disappointed! They had an excellent menu to chose from and as it is asparagus season plenty of dishes containing asparagus. They had a great selection of wines ranging from reasonable to very expensive and also half bottles. The service was very good and the food beautifully presented. There was a great atmosphere and plenty of people dining on a Monday evening. Well worth trying if you are in the area.

This really should be considered a destination more than a restaurant. The wines are original to the restaurant and (this is Bardolino, a very enjoyable but not glorious wine) the reds and Chiaretto are superb. The location above Lake Garda is beautiful and comfortable and visitors should schedule a separate trip down to the lake and around the grounds - you'll love it! I found the regional menu enjoyable, if not memorable, but that's really not the point. The service is friendly and welcoming, and with a lifetime of travel, perfectly enjoyable. For a trip to the lake and a fun and delicious lunch, I recommend it!
