We love this place. We had brisket and pulled pork pork tacos, Both were fresh and tasty. We also really loved their regular barbecue sauce. It was a casual order at the counter restaurant, and food was delivered correctly and promptly. Will come back the next time were in Nashville and enjoy some other dishes.Thank you for taking the time to leave us this kind review! My husband and I visited this restaurant on our last night in Nashville. We went to Nashville for a vacation / convention for me, and wanted to go to an authentic southern restaurant on our last night in Nashville. We both had bison burgers with chipotle mayonnaise. They had a very small band that played bluegrass. they also had a little pond that had life catfish. there were various types of fish including catfish on the menu as well as BBQ Chicken & ribs. We had dessert; I had authentic Key Lime pie, which was absolutely delicious. I never had authentic Key Lime pie before, and I would like to learn how to make it myself; it was that good. The atmosphere was really neat as far as a real country feel. They even had a replica of a Dodge truck from the 30s. the food was excellent, the waiter Kris was excellent, it was just really a neat experience overall. I highly recommend it.

Went here with a GreyLine Honky Tonk tour. What a great surprise. Itâs located on historic site of Famous Prison of Nashville. You can smell it before you get out of vehicle. Very clean appearance. Inside is sort of fast food style. You get you own food on tray. I got the brisket. Absolutely, wonderful. You have about 6 flavors of BBQ sauces. Prices were very reasonable as well. Eat here again? Yes, yes, yes. They have original Jacks on Broadway. Itâs located in the heart of the honky tonks of Nashville.

We were on broadway on Friday around 5 pm and everything was packed, but we were able to share a table at Jackâs and were thankful for that. We had the brisket sandwiches which were tasty and the vinegar based sauce took it up a level. Capped it off with chocolate pie, amazing. Fun ambiance. Will return.

Visited this several times as we were staying nearby. Evening food was great and excellent value. Music was great with a couple of excellent vocalists. Afternoons were laid back with casual dining in the outdoor area. Hey Cloudyhead1968, Thanks for dining with us! We always want our customers to feel at home. Edley's Bar-B-Que has been voted the No. 1 BBQ restaurant in Nashville, Tennessee, and after sampling the ribs, chicken, baked beans, smoked wings, potato salad and pecan pie, my wife and I certainly won't argue the point. Located at 2706 12th Avenue South in Nashville's bustling 12 South neighborhood, Edley's and owner Will Newman are finding a way to unite the Nashville tradition of Meat-and-Three. While strolling through 12 South, a leafy residential neighborhood known for its bungalow-style homes, fine dining restaurants, coffee houses and stylish designer boutiques, we chose to have lunch at Edley's. Chicago is just beginning to embrace barbecue and they can take lessons from Edley's. We started with smoked sausage and pimento cheese and smoked wings. Then we stoked up the heat with a full rack of ribs with cornbread, red sauce, pickles, baked beans and potato salad and a 1/2 chicken platter with cornbread, red and white sauce, cole slaw, pickles and potato salad. That meat-and-three concept, apparently a southern original, is really starting to catch on with us. For dessert, we shared another southern creation, fried banana pudding, with a southern tradition, pecan pie. Yummy.Hey there, Taylor! My husband and I stopped by this location after visiting friends in Centennial hospital. It was about 4:30 pm. There was no line and very few people in the restaurant. This is significant because I hear that many times there is a line out the door. We ordered the combo plate which comes with 3 meats, two veggies and bread. Our meats were the brisket, ribs and dark meat chicken. Our veggies were greens and baked apples. All came with two slices of toast or cornbread. We got the cornbread. First let me say that it was plenty of food for us to share. We left very full and satisfied. There were only two things that disappointed me. The ribs were tough and the cornbread was dry on the edges. However, we soaked both in bbq sauce and that made a big difference. The brisket was the best-very moist. And Iâm glad we got the dark meat chicken- it was very juicy and good. There are six sauces to choose from. I mixed a couple to get the flavor I was looking for. The staff was nice and the restaurant was clean. I would go back, but not for the ribs. This is the reason for a four star rating.

We went on a Saturday morning. Waited about an hour but there are a few gift shops that you can wander thru so it does make the wait time go fast and it gives you time for a good photo op! We had to wait awhile for the biscuits since they had just run out then I think our waitress forgot to bring them to us when they were ready so we were "biscuitless" for a good while but once they got there we understood why they are known for them. Just the perfect biscuit! Breakfast was good, nothing spectacular except the cheese grits!!! There is a window you can go watch as the guy makes and cuts out the biscuits.
