We were 2 ladies and headed here after reading reviews, it's down an isolated dark road towards the beach and we didnt feel comfortable with that. The seating is awkward in little huts dont wear a dress.The owner was lovely though and organised us a taxi somewhere else.Maybe go during the day when its light ?

I spent three days in Kuta and managed to come back here four times after discovering it!The food here was absolutely delicious and came super fast - I picked the local food and loved every dish that I tried, a mixture of the vegetarian and chicken options!Service was above and beyond, had a great time with the staff here and even picked it as my pickup location for my bus onwards so I could chill with the staff one more time.If you go ask to play the bottle game - a fun way to win a drink or two!

We went there for dinner with 4 based on the positive reviews.Arrived - the place is empty - as we had booked still stayed... wish we had not.Ordered salads for starters which were ok but bland. Bread was stale. Pasta dish with prawn completely taste free. My pizza was horrible with gritty cheese and tasteless sausages. The Italian owner was apologetic and took both of the bill - I changed for a decent pasta with beef Raghu. Staff very friendly. In all when 2 of 4 dishes are a miss a disappointing experience. I understand why there was no one... apart from the location which is nice...

Relaxed dinner, informal casual dining. The staff were welcoming, the menu (not for vegetarians!) was good, not too expensive. The steak was good, not the best I've ever had but still good, cooked well and the chef was accommodating of my changes to the side dishes. If you go, definitely leave space for the pumpkin pie, it's delicious!

Maybe we went there in the wrong moment at the wrong time. There was a lot of folks, joining a birthday party of someone (might have been the boss). They were yelling at eachother from the one table to the other. But especially smoking, and that's something very disturbing for my appetite. Next days when we passed by, it was chill in the reestaurant, so we had the wrong moment. Chicken was tasty, but in Belgium we are used to very tasty chicken in different ways. The home made pepper sauce was really good. When eating a chicken, we use our fingers and after the meal it's nice to clean them. There was no sink to wash your hands.
