Restaurant Situated Next To The Rio Noguera Pallaresa With Terrace. Proximity Kitchen. Grilled Meats And Vegetables
We booked in here at our second attempt (its very popular with the locals and tourists alike). We had a table for six in the enclosed part of the terrace. Very pleasant views.I selected the snails as a starter (huge portion : be warned) and the entrecote as a main dish. My wife chose a salad to start (also very sizeable) and the lamb for main.Very good food and very attentive staff. Nice spot and clearly very very popular with all that know it, and all that come to this area.

Had the snails, leek and sausages (both black and white). Plus a traditional house wine and dessert (cottage cheese with honey and walnuts). Service with a smile at all times and food is great! Favorite was the leek followed by the snails. This became the highlight of my trip to Lleida! Menu is all in Catalan so better bring a local with you!

Excellent food at great value. Must try the snails here. They are incredible. They have two ways of cooking them here and both were great. Whilst they don't offer a lunch menu, the a la carte prices are fairly reasonable for the quality of their dishes. We paid around 45⬠for both of us including drinks.

Worth seeking out, this restaurant. Especially if you like good, local food and a place with atmosphere (walls of quaint tat included for good measure, as well as every conceivable montage-known-to-man made of snails), all set in vaulted old wine-cellar rooms. We had a house salad, and shared the mixed grill of sausage, quail, rabbit and pork - enough for us, for lunch. (Okay, we were making sure we could 'go again' in the evening) Really beautifully cooked, tasty grilled meats. Salad fresh, and nice. Place is no-frills, just how I like it. Recommended.

Restaurant with great culinary tradition since 1962, produces high quality products in the kitchen of oak wood grilled, aims to heighten the flavor of the product prepared..
Been to this Restaurant a few times and the car park is always full (of expensive cars)This is your typical local Catalan restaurant - a hidden secret. Get there at 2pm and you will be the first, by 3pm it is full. One of the waiters speaks very good English, so don't worry about the language barrier.Local Snails are a common speciality in Spain and certainly the ones they sell here are excellent.Don't miss the Calecots - it's a fresh long spring onion that's been cremated on the bbq. It's served with a bib and gloves to stop the burnt outside from going on your clothes. Pinch the bottom of the onion and pull from the top - a clean, fresh delicious soft onion string comes out which you then dip in a lovely tomato, spicy sauce - it's just fresh and excellent.BBQ Aubergines come with a great sauce. Breads, Hams, Jumbo Prawns and Langoustines are all served fresh. The steaks are top quality. The running order in this Catalan restaurant is lots and lots of starters, all the things above, plus the steak on it's own at the end.Drink Beer with the starters and a bottle of Ribera Del Duero with the main courses and steak.Be careful at the end of the meal - the waiters will bring you a coffee and ask if you want an aperitif - they will leave the whole bottle of gin or whisky for you to help yourself. Given that it is often 40 degrees in the afternoon in Lerida during most of the year - this can be a dangerous finish to an excellent meal in this excellent restaurant.

We chose this restaurant by chance. Simple and modern decor. The set lunch was outstanding value, with a mix of traditional and more imaginative offerings. We went for the traditional side - a huge plate of excellently prepared snails, followed by grilled lamb and a simple sweet. All very well prepared and presented, with pleasant and attentive service. The house red wine was young and simple, but well chosen.Outstanding price/quality ratio.Recommended.gracias por su opinion

Restaurant - braseria that especially promotes the cuisine of Lleida, Catalana and Mediterranea: "snails a la llauna" salted with primary products of the orchard of Lleida, meats and grilled fish, the esqueixada of cod, local products of season as the art
A group of 12 of us who were in Lleida discovered this gem. We were treated royally by the owners, a family. The found was delicious, and value excellent. They graciously served our large group late in the evening when the restaurant was near closing time. We had a wonderful meal and great time getting to know the owners. Would love to return one day.
