Sono stato con Groupon ma il gestore non mi ha trattato come un cliente di serie B. Le carni portate sono buone. Certo le porzioni sono piccole ma essendo tante soddisfano le persone con un appetito normale. Servizio cordiale con spiegazioni di quello che viene servito. Ananas a fine servizio al termine divino. My husband and I found this restaurant while walking around super hungry and waiting for diner time to come.The guys who own the restaurant offer us a table even before official opening time (obviously we looked exhausted).We have very friendly talk, they explained to us what they cook, what are the new recipes and we really enjoyed atmosphere.The food was very delicious. Supposedly the best cacciucco restaurant in Livorno is limping behind its reputation.Be attentive to the efforts of the head waiter to make you order an unnecessarily huge meal. The cacciucco is large and heavy and can be shared, the crudo part of the antipasto is worth it, but the rest is unremarkable and could be shared just to wet your appetite. It is a homey atmosphere with efficient operation but overrated.

Seriously amazing burger. I had the chicken with some sort of oozy melty cheese sauce stuff and it was awesome. Husband had the beef version and concurred. Lovely service and menu in English. Decent toilet and outdoor seating under the verandah. Wish we had this restaurant at home!

This is a hidden gem. Located round the side of the Hotel Grande Pallazo (almost in its basement) the food here was simply brilliant and the young staff were very good. Its not pricey at all. This is an exceptional place. It's all about the food, the wine and you. Although they do great pizza's ( where in Italy doesn't ) the steak is definitely the main event. Sold by the kilo, choose wisely, take advice from the very knowledgeble staff and then enjoy with a superb range of wines.

This restaurant is a little aways from the train station/city center but offers a great view of another section of Tuscany! I guess you would expect that such a restaurant at this location would be overpriced with mediocre food, but we were pleasantly surprised by both! Two words of caution, we almost didn't get seated on the patio because we came at 3 pm. There is no "warning" on the restaurant's website so plan to eat lunch earlier in the afternoon. Second, getting a cab from the restaurant back to the city (or in our case the train station) takes a bit f time and we ended up missing our train. So just another thing to plan accordingly for ahead of time.

We ate here following good reviews on TripAdvisor. We are from England and booked for 1930 which was the earliest slot( we eat early.) Thank goodness we booked!! It was a Thursday and by 2030 it was packed out with locals!! The carpaccio was unreal and the steak burger....well....I'd eat it everyday!! Fantastic wine list and helpful staff who spoke excellent English to my poor attempts at Italian. Go here.

After living in Argentina for two years we werenât sure what to expect when we learned about this Argentine restaurant in the middle of Livorno. Daniel and his team have created a truly authentic experience with food that makes you feel like you are in Buenos Aires or Mendoza. The restaurant is upscale but they were so kind to our child under 2 and made us feel at home. First we enjoyed the free amuse-bouche âEl Artisaâ ragu appetizer on toast, then we ordered the empanadas which were very good. Along with the house wine we ordered the Parillia for 2, and the âAngusâ cut was the tastiest steak weâve had since we left Argentina. They got it right. There was an amazing amount of food for the price and the service was friendly and welcoming- we even had a limoncello on the house at the end. Parking can be difficult on the street but there is a lot around the corner and if you need help call ahead and he will clear a space for you. They also have live music every Saturday. Weâll definitely visit again!
