Absolutely delicious BBQ, this is the real deal not the fake/mass produced stuff. The head guy comes in early every morning to smoke the meat and you can tell the love he has for his food. Mac N Cheese is amazing as well! Highly suggest it! PLUS we used the catering for our wedding... SO MUCH MORE than just BBQ, just talk to Mark. Less expensive and much higher quality than the several other places we went to!

Every dish was spot--on and that's a rarity for northern restaurants attempting to do southern food, We started with fried okra. Folks, there is a lot of bad attempts at fried okra and this was perfect and the portion was huge. We also had a crawfish tails and they were equally delicious and, again, a huge portion. The gumbo was nice and spicy-the way it should be. My son had a muffaleta and it was delicious served on high quality bread, Very good live music, think Johnny Cash, was playing. If this place doesn't make it it won't be because of the quality of food but the ignorance of the clienelee.

This place is out in the sticks but we really enjoyed it. The pulled pork sandwich I had was delicious and the tater tots were a nice change from French fries. They also had a really good beer selection too. Nothing fancy for sure but we will definitely make the trip for the good smoked meats.
