I got the combo plate with pulled pork and ribs. Both meats had a good flavor but neither had a strong bbq smoke flavor. The baked beans were good not great and the potato salad was homemade and tasted great. I was a little disappointed that you were give an plain piece of bread which was not toasted. The bbq sauce was a peppery Memphis style which was flavorful but not overpowering. With a large tea it was $18 which is about what most bbq places charge now. I would eat here again

In Laurel for a ball game and came here to eat before the game. Small place with rustic atmosphere. Ribs are excellent, meat falls off the bones. Pulled pork is also very good. Service was friendly and efficient. They have really good homemade pound cake made by a local home baker.

Ate there today with my sales rep. Pretty good smokehouse salad. My first time there and we had the same lunch salad. I added extra meat on (smoked turkey) and found it to be a perfect combo with the standard brisket. I found it to be very flavorful. Staff was very friendly. Got busy, almost half full with customers by 1130 in the morning. I wanted oil and vinegar and they did not have it. I would suggest any restaurant carry oil and vinegar. Both will last forever, unlike the creamy dressings that so many carry. A bbq restaurant like this is excellent for low carb dieters. You get a nice plastic cup to self serve your soft drinks/teas. I got 2 refills and took one for the road. I'll be back, but get some oil and vinegar in the meantime, PLEASE. For the record, 2 salads and 2 drinks with tax was $23. No tip necessary as this is a picadilly type serving line.
