Reviews on Barbecue food in Las Terrenas, Samana Province, Caribbean. Located on the northeastern coast of the Samana Peninsula, Las Terrenas offers miles of protected inshore waters and beautiful, undeveloped white-sand-beaches, lined with tall palm trees and pastel-colored fishing boats. Trade winds and the warm temperature of the sub-tropical Atlantic Ocean bring this part of the island year-round balmy weather. With a year-round average of 77 degrees Fahrenheit, the temperatures vary only 18 degrees between summer and winter.

Friendly people. They speak French as well, which was really helpful. Right underneath a hotel (El Guayacan). A lot of locals. Great ambiance and party music. Food was flavourful. Mainly barbecue/grill. Quite simple, but good and cheap. We can recommend it.
The Pirate Bar Restaurant offers you its best dishes of national and international cuisine, you can taste our delicious dishes in front of the beach and with a good service.
I went to this restaurant with my family and the service was outstanding! The service was incredible and I would recommend this place to anyone! I love it!

The Boonies sells authentic Texas style BBQ. The Brisket is Angus and the ribs and are both imported. Chef Ney GARRIDO and his team use cooking facilities that are shocking. The smoker is a sight to behold, but it produces some of the best Texas style smoked product. The best in the DR for sure. Ney produces some amazing meals. I am a sucker for the seared Tuna. Amazing product and amazing results from this tiny kitchen. The menu has a nice variety of of great food at great prices, don't forget he also has a Pizza oven. His staff are a delight.

A nice Chilean gentleman rubs this nicely presented restaurant. Tablecloths and subdued lighting in an outdoor dining area. I was hankering for some good ribs after lots of seafood in other restaurants. These were really meaty and tender with a great mashed potato side with delicious gravy. The prices were very reasonable and the service attentive. We were alone eating at 7pm but by the time we left other diners were arriving. My companions did not like their pastas (penne with crab and spaghetti carbonara-Alfredo sauce didnât taste fresh) but my meal was right on.

My husband and I were celebrating at the restaurant our wedding anniversary. Why did we choose it? At first glance, it seems simple and inconspicuous. But! That's where we found the perfect combination of scenes and charm of the Dominican Republic with the romance.Typical "simple" Dominican furnishings with simple wooden furniture and decorative fishing net from above. But, at the same time very festive due to the white tables, chairs and tastefully decorated table on the background of the ocean. Soft clean sand underfoot, branches of palm trees, which perfectly fit into the frame of each photo, and the waves drove straight to your table. All this gave us impassable feeling that you are in paradise.. in the Dominican Republic..Thanks to the advice of the owner, we arrived a little earlier than planned and had the opportunity to enjoy the sunset in the lagoon. Absolutly fantastic!!! The restuarant has the Ideal location from which to watch the sunset and enjoy a romantic dinner.. The romantic mood did not pass even after darkness. Reasonable layout with non-intrusive electric lights, candles on the table, and the lights of the other restaurants along the lagoon.. Do not be concerned (like my husband in the beginning) that the restaurant is located next to the road. We did not hear anything from passing cars or mopeds! We heard only the whisper of the ocean waves. The lights from passing cars even provided more romantic charm for our video footage.I will not go into the details of the food products that we ate or drank.. I can only say that what the French owner/chef provided was absolutely fantastic with good service and at the end we were treated to wonderful(!) homemade(!) ice cream.. yammi!p.s. We are DR residents and not tourists who tend to be impressed with every beach and every tree :) So we are always looking for something special and this restuarant suited all our wishes and vision for our special evening. With all my heart and clear conscience we recommend and encourage you to try everything yourself.. The most romantic place in the whole of Las Terrenas..

Welcome to O Grill! We specialize in Fresh BBQ (importation and national meals), Seafood, Steaks, Salads, Homemade Sauces, and Desserts all in a " Casual " atmosphere. With many years of restaurant experience, we understand the importance of being more th
From all aspects, O Grill has evidently worked hard to improve since it was relaunched from Chez Sandro. We spent a really enjoyable Saturday evening here. The new layout has an expanded area for outdoor high table seating, new parasols, a large wood fired grill and a revised menu that features both local and imported grilled meats. There was good background music from a live entertainer and the staff seemed to be hustling to serve all the tables. Compared to Chez Sandro, the food was much better - my beef filet needed a little longer on the grill and this was handled without any fuss. My wife enjoyed the grilled vegetables with a fish filet. Should now be considered as one of the best in LT.

Went here and although the food was tasty, disappointed in that I probably got hustled. Paid $660 pesos for shrimp, but only got like 6 shrimp. I'd say order something else here as the other things we had to eat were filling and delicious.

Ok. Nice spot on the beach. The food is not bad, but not the wonderful french cuisine the owner would like you to believe he is gracing you with. You are not really uncomfortable at your table but they will let you know when it is time to move on. Add some old french couples drinking gallons of bad rosé at the nearby tables expounding loudly the terrific time they are having and your gladly overpay a hefty bill just for the relief of driving away to seek milder climes. So all in all you will eat not badly. But if you are not a French barfly you will be happier elsewhere.

Weâd passed by this restaurant a couple of times, then checked out the reviews on trip advisor, there were a couple that said if you speak English donât bother going, this very nearly put us off going, so glad we did. From the moment we arrived everything was perfect, the waitresses spoke great English although I did try my bad Spanish on them, food was fantastic we both had the local filet mignon wa amazing, Frederico the host came over and introduced himself asked how our meal was and even gave us complimentary digestifs, sorry I forgot to mention the onion rings and mozzarella sticks that arrived at the table shortly after we arrived. Will def return before we leave and thoroughly recommend giving at a try, our best meal so far in Las Terrenas
