As per other reviews we weren't given a menu however seems to be what happens. Couvert then choice of tomato or green salad. Then chicken either piri or plain with fries. Finished off with small dish of melon, orange, almonds and currants.With drinks and coffee came to 18 euros for two. Whole experience service and quality of food was great. We will return next time we are in area. One NOT to be missed.Thank you very much for the positive feedback about your visit to Valdemar barbecue. Group of 35 ate here. Excellent service by the staff and chef. Excellent choices catering for vegan. Plentiful and a high standard. Endless supply of wine. Very attentive. We had an excellent meal lovely spicy fish soup. Garlic prawns with orange sauce. Six lamb chops. All well cooked served by delightful intelligent young lady who ran down the street in pursuit of us when one of our party (me) left his jumper behind . Too many mojohito's me thinks Bill reasonable. Will return to try the aged beef. Catch of the day looked good when bought out for client selection

Visited with a Party of 14.Service was perfectly timed. Highly recommend the smoked salmon bagel absolutely delicious.Golf course is venue not to be missed.Paige was the politest, professional waitress, Thank You.Wish we had found this gem at the beginning of the holiday.

Went for our evening meal slightly early than normal and managed to get the last table for 4 inside ....only 4 tables inside and about 8 outside... always full when you pass... food cooked on an open grill outside then passed back through to the restaurant.... didnât have starters but opted for whole red snapper and whole golden bream,pork dish and a burger... the fish was fantastic weighed in front of you then grilled whole outside ... excellent value for money .... have been to many fish restaurants in the Algarve where then would be happy to charge you 4 times as much for the same fish....try to book to avoid disappointment

Visit this restaurant whenever in Ferragudo. Excellent meat and fish restaurant with good sized portions. Owers are chef and front of house Jo, who is a character! Word of warning need to book, closed Wednesdays, and go hungry as sweets are great as well.Thanks so much for taking the time to come and then reveiw
