I was told by a local to check out the Yakiniku Reimen Yamato when I got to Ichinoseki and fortunately it was right next door to the hotel I was staying at. I started with a delicious Reimen and then was delighted by a magnificent Japanese BBQ of pork, beef and intestine; yes intestine. I was served and assisted by an extremely attractive women and this added to what was a memorable meal. One of the first places I will visit on my next visit to Ichinoseki.

Wandering around town, I found this. No English-language menu but a weloming notice on the the door in several languages. The menu had some pictures and the waiter pointed out some suggestions,even fetching a book to show what part of the cow it was.The restaurant features bits of beef that you cook on a gas grill on your table (more fun with a crowd, I'm sure). The meat servings were not large, but side orders and a beer made it a meal.

一ノ関の町を歩くと焼肉屋が目立って多いので、宿から近い数軒をロックオンし、大昌園に決めた。開店後の30分後に入ったが、予約無しでも入れた。5種類ほどの肉やホルモンを食べたが、値段や味も含め大満足。スタッフの女性の気配りも良く、また行きたくなる店だった。

ユーザに訪問する際に、こちらでランチを頂きました。有名なお店で、東京にも数店進出しています。今回は黒毛和牛のハンバーグランチと、目玉焼きのトッピングで注文をしました。ソースは4種類あります。ハンバーグは普通で、特別感は有りませんでした。
