Huesca (Spanish pronunciation: [ˈweska]; Aragonese: Uesca; Catalan: Osca) is a city in north-eastern Spain, within the autonomous community of Aragon. It is also the capital of the Spanish province of the same name and of the comarca of Hoya de Huesca. In 2009 it had a population of 52,059, almost a quarter of the total population of the province. The city is one of the smallest provincial capitals in Spain.

The food is absolutely first rate: cooked and presented to perfection. The chef and owner, David, is a delightful, highly talented and artistic young man and he is ably assisted by his father. I believe that in the evening reservations need to be made but at lunchtime it was deserted and we got the undivided attention of David and his father. I cannot recommend either them or the food highly enough. It is an absolute gem of a place in the most unlikely little village in Aragon. They also have a little supermarket attached to the restaurant in which local produce may be purchased.

The place is nice and very carateristic but the food is not remarkable at all. House ham is very nice, but all other choice are in little quantities and nothing special. I would suggest it not for a dinner, but for a drink eating local ham in the meanwhile.

Un lugar para ir a cenar brasa y algo de ensalada o revuelto. Buena relación calidad-precio. Brasa auténtica y buena comida. Vayas a la hora que vayas te dan de comer. Lugar familiar y gente encantadora.
