We arrived as the restaurant was doing a charity fundraiser with some items for sale and even a dunkin tank. Wait was not long and comfortable seating outside under some trees. All food was made on sight and you could smell it cooking a long ways off. We had the half lean brisket and half ribs pecker plate. Our sides were mac and cheese, cole slaw, corn on the cob and my favorite datil baked beans. Everything was excellent including the service. Please is located not far from the Shands bridge and a short walk to the Shands fishing pier. Place felt like everyone were friends.

We always try the pulled pork sandwich on our first visit to any BBQ place. We have often enjoyed lunch at G's Slow Smoked BBQ's original Middleburg location and had high expectations for G's new location in Green Cove Springs. We found it even better! We shared four sides including green beans, potato salad, baked beans and collard greens which included corn bread. They were excellent. The pork was delicious with a variety of interesting sauces. Great sweet tea and country music in the background. Next time....THE RIBS!

We have missed the Woody's bar-b-que near our home on Blanding, since it's closing a couple years ago. We have been to this location several times, and always appreciate a good barbecue meal.My favorite is the meat salad. My husband likes the pork sandwich or ribs. Prices are moderate. Good amount of food for the price. Staff is helpful and friendly.

WOW! Great job! Mojo's catering group from Fleming Island prepared a whole pig for our backyard wedding reception, and it was AMAZING! They cooked the whole pig and then delivered it to our house and prepared it and broke it down for everyone to watch and enjoy. The show and process was great, and the taste was perfect. Moist, tender, and full of flavor! They do the ONLY authentic North Carolina vinegar based BBQ in JAX, and it was amazing. Everyone raved about how good it was. They also provide many other BBQ varieties too that are all delicious. Everything was delicious, the appetizers, the sides (sweet mashed, slaw, mashed pots), pulled pork, brisket, turkey. They did a fantastic job and would recommend for any private event. Everyone loved it.
