Antipasto plate fantastic, with amazing fresh sheep milk ricotta, that redefined ricotta for me. Delightful 'small' steak that was still too big. Matched with the recommended local beer made for memorable and affordable lunch. The host was charming, and managed our lack of Italian with flair. 5 stars.

There is no menu but the waiter explains what is available. We ordered the antipasto and the waiter suggested we decide after that if we wanted a main course, which was pastas or meats. A good call - there were 12 different dishes, which were all excellent and we had great difficulty finishing them. No need for more food! Wine was really good too and service quick and very friendly. Next time we will share one portion of antipasto and try main courses. Inexpensive for great food - we paid 35 euros fro all the food and drink. If you're in Gela, don't go anywhere else.

We ate here several times for lunch on the beach. Great fresh fish and fresh watermelon for dessert. Perfect for beach lunch!

Ruben is a beautiful restaurant on the Gela's sea. This restaurant has a beautifull dining room and for summer has a big space outside. The price is very very low and the quality is very good seeing is believing!
