The food was decent but the service was absolutely terrible! To begin with I asked for a recommendation on what to order. I ordered and a few minutes later my server came by and told me they were out of what I ordered. I changed my selection and My order was not correct - I ordered chopped beef and got sliced brisket. Service was so bad I had to go find a knife to cut my brisket. I also had to get my own refill of tea - twice. The cook and server seemed totally oblivious and were bantering back and forth in the back loudly. I would recommend NOT going to this establishment.

We came to the Lake Palestine from San Antonio for a family celebration. Made a small drive into Tyler,Tx from our resort and definitely didn't regret our choice of restaurants. Spring Creek Bbq is awesome. Very nice staff, brisket and ribs are delicious. Kids very much enjoys the fresh, hot out the oven rolls that kept coming around. If ever in Tyler be sure to check this place out.

I was visiting a friend on the hospital and he told me to go across the street. This place is really good. Brisket, ribs, sausage, Turkey and chicken. All plates served with beans, Cole slaw and potato salad. The brisket just melted on your mouth, the ribs were outstanding and the sausage cooked to perfection. They have a kids menu and serve breakfast tacos and burritos. Put this place on my "must do again" list in Tyler. While we're sorry to hear about the circumstances with your friend, Joel, we appreciate you coming over and giving our place a try. It sounds like you had a chance to try several items on the menu, so it's great to hear you loved the meats and sides so much. If you ever find yourself back in the area, don't hesitate to come back and visit us. Cheers, Nick P.
