Neat atmosphere but limited indoor main seating. But I have never had to wait in line. Located in Downtown Fargo across from the Old Broadway.Originally they just had chicken but now they have beef and pork products too. ProsGreat beef brisket.Good taste and texture.Beans were okay but nothing memoriable.Service was very good. ConsPork ribs were not good. Well below average with powder on top for flavor.Read other reviews to see what people like and dislike is highly recommended. Cornbread was not very good. Famous Dave's cornbread still is the best. Thanks for the visit and review. A quick note on the ribs - we serve them dry rubbed. If you want to add one of our sauces to them, you're more than welcome to.

Famous Dave's is the best BBQ you can get outside of the selective BBQ places in Kansas City, Memphis or Texas! Great ribs, cornbread, sides and their platters and takeout are fantastic. Get extra napkins and wipes and the sauces are for every palate (I love the Devils Spit sauce)!

I've never in my life seen so many children in a bar and grill, but then, it really is designed for them, with the actual fully stocked bar off in another area of the venue. There are three of these places in this so-called mini-chain, one in Minnesota not too far from Fargo, one in Bismarck and the one in Fargo. The hostess said there was a 15 to 20 minute wait at about 6:15 p.m. when we arrived but the three of us were seated in a comfortable booth about 5 minutes later. Our waitress arrived at once for drink orders. Service was great and the food was good. The lone exception was my wife's hot tea which she said was weak and not very warm. There was no accompanying tea bag.
