Easily one of the best meals I've ever had. Excellent food, amazing prices, wonderful service. A friend and I showed up around 7pm for dinner starving. We were unaware of Italian customs and that was too early for dinner and the place was still setting up for dinner service. They still happily sat us in the bar area and brought us wine with a tray of appetizers. At proper dinner time, we were seated in the main dining area where there was a wonderful open oven with meat cooking. They then recommended the set meal for dinner with them making all food and drink decisions besides dessert. We had no idea what a treat we would be in for. Numerous carafes of wine and 6 courses including dessert! The food just kept coming and it was all specular! More appetizers, pasta, meat, veggies...At the end of the meal we were dreading the bill since we just ate and drank for hours without a care in the world and were shocked at how inexpensive it was. Just because of this restaurant I plan on coming back to the area again. HIGHLY recommend.

Siamo stati a cena in questa trattoria per festeggiare un compleanno. Dispone di un bel posto esterno dove si sta molto bene in estate. Abbiamo assaggiato sia pizza che primi e secondi ed era tutto molto buono. L'unico appunto è che la mia porzione di bigoli era più scarsa rispetto alle altre. Cameriere gentili e simpatiche. Un bel posticino. Bravi.

The Chef prepared us amazing dinner. Pasta with vegetables that was prepared specially for us tasted excellent. We were offered different kind of appetizers that all tasted very good. Also price for all of the food and wine that we had was surprisingly low. Would be happy to return anytime. If you sit outside there is amazing mountain view. Romantic and authentic place. Came here after have heard a lot about it, therefore had high expectations. We weren't sure where was the entrance as there were 2 and, after mistaken it, we been sent to the right one where our reserved table was waiting.Inside the restaurant you will be welcomed in a huge room with long horizontal tables, separated from each other by a small space enough to walk around the tables.The waitress will come over to explain you the menu (as there is no paper menu) which has a lot of choice for pasta dishes and just grilled meat as following. We get to know that you can have tagliata or braciola meal if you pre-order it in advance.Some of us took the cured meat board which had salami, pancetta and porchetta, even though the last one tasted as ham, all garnish with "giardiniera"; the rest of us took pasta which wasn't anything special.The meat portion was good and the taste saved the tragic meal we were having. All the side dished were ok too.About the service probably would be better not to say anything as it was almost insistent; thoughout I would not give all the fault to the ladies, because they were running around and trying their best; if I can suggest something I think they should try to hire at least 2 more of them, what would make people feel more followed.Still wondering how this place can be so busy, probably it hides a secret or it's only for the amazing cheap price?

location interna da rinnovare da almeno 50 anni.....personale un pò "stanco".primi mediamente buoni.la carne assolutamente no: non molto saporita, più dura che tenera e soprattutto la loro costata è più una bistecca sottile.contorini ottimi.dessert nella media.prezzi fuori se paragonati alla location e alla qulità della carne: 25e cadauno.eccessivi qui.

I was here guest of a local company and the promises at the entrance were not disappointed by the meals.I had an essay of local "antipasti", which is basically a taste of different salumi and cheeses, and pasta.To be sure you get something unique that you won't find anywhere else, ask the waiter the house specialty.I have tried their pasta with duck sauce and I was very delighted.The dinner ended up with a very good dessert and a tipical italian short espresso (don't ask cappuccino here at the end, they would not understand it too much, and it's a bit unusual for us after a good dinner).I cannot say anything about the price, but I figure out it's really value for money, while the staff is prompt, attemptive and worth of the tip.

Quite quirky and basic look but the grilled meat is something else, tender juicy and tasty! Another pleasant surprise is the price, with 20 euros each you are stuffed! Likely there are good little city centre near by to walk it all off :)

From appetizers to desserts everything was phenomenal. For the first time had goose breast, and it was great. As to the main course we had huge and great pieces of meat perfectly cooked. It would be a waste to come to Don Fili and not have such divine meat. Finished with a delicious panna cota. As to the service and attention, the same, all were extremely nice and very welcoming.A "must go" to those who are around

Le cadre et la décoration sont certainement les points forts de la trattoria. On entre par un petit bar menant vers trois salles décorées de manière différente. La salle dans laquelle nous avons mangé faisait un peu penser à une maison américaine avec une horloge murale de Springfield, IL. Les nappes sont très belles et en harmonie avec la décoration murale. L'endroit semble plus luxueux que la trattoria locale typique. La carte est assez caractéristique de la cuisine familiale avec un accent sur les viandes, surtout bovines, et les plats à la truffe. Bonnes viandes, bonne cuisson. Une bonne adresse. L'endroit est plus adapté à des adultes. Nous sommes venus avec de jeunes enfants et ils détonnaient un peu dans une ambiance assez feutrée
