Everything we ordered was excellent with the exception of the peach cobbler. Especially liked the mashed sweet potatoes. We had a friendly greeting and a very good waiter. Nice big booth which we requested. This restaurant is actually quiet, which is rare these days. Wish it was closer to home.

"Serving the Best Bar-B-Que with the Finest Southern Hospitality"
I loved the down home feel and home cook'in foods at this restaurant. Built like an old fashion down south real BBQ diner that just invites you in for a great meal. Loved our lunch/dinner here. All the food was delicious!BOTTOM LINE: Yes, yes, this restaurant is worth your visit! If you love good BBQ meats, I had the Tri-Tip BBQ and it was the best I have ever eaten anywhere! My wife had a Chicken Caesar salad the was huge and delicious. I really liked the personal touch of the ambiance this place exudes. Another in our party had a half-slab of pork ribs that were incredible. You got to try this place out. If you love real BBQ, you got'a try Lucille's! Worth every penny! Our service was excellent. We came away full and satisfied. We loved the home cooked biscuits and honey butter not to mention the home style corn bread I chose as one of my sides. Their menu has something for everyone. This restaurant works well for family or for groups of friends.
I ordered a bbq chicken plate. The chicken was horrible. Overcooked, dry, hard and not really edible. The white rice was also very dry and sticky. The macaroni was ok, but I had ordered fresh tossed greens, so was not happy about that. You do get a large portion for your money, but it was so bad that I hardly ate any of it. This is the 2nd L&L BBQ place Ive tried and they were both awful. Decided to write a review because I'm never going back!! Still have that awful chicken taste in my mouth.

I had lunch with my Grandsons at Maderas. I was disappointed with the Tri Tip Dip. Not a lot of flavor. My middle grandson thought the Tri Tip was all right. My older grandson had a hamburger. He thought it was pretty good. My youngest grandson had the Angel Hair Pomodoro with chicken. He loved the chicken, but did not like the pasta. Good service. No problem with the parking at lunchtime during the week.
