I had not visited this restaurant for years, mostly because was not in my driving route. Two weeks ago I went with my family and the restaurant was not full, the place has aged and need a little bit of restoration, especially in the bathrooms and outside, brisket was good and tasty , did not like the chicken, but the side dishes did not look very appetizing, the corn bread balls were good. I asked if the owner still was the same but the cashier said the guy sold the restaurant to one his workers . I wish they can see the potential of this restaurant, and keep it open for a long time.

Ordered a combo plate with ribs, brisket, and sausage. All were done perfectly. You can get as much sides as your plate can hold. The mac and cheese was really good along with the cole slaw and potato salad. You will leave stuffed from this restaurant!

I've been by Brooks' BBQ many times over the years but have never been able to stop because he was closed. His BBQ trailer opens at 11 am and closes when he runs out, which could be in one hour or in five hours. I finally got there on Saturday at around 1 pm and luckily he was still open. I had a 1/2 lb beef brisket sandwich and the cranberry walnut slaw. The meat on the sandwich was very tender and had great flavor. I added some sauce which was a sweet but not very thick sauce which complimented the beef perfectly. The slaw was really good, although I thought the portion size was a bit lacking for the price. He also had a free beer (with proper ID) for customer appreciation. Mr. Brooks is a ardent 2nd Amendment supporter so If you show your military or concealed carry permit you can get 10% off. Not a bad deal.
Went with the family and the food was very good. We had a combination of pulled pork, smoked turkey and brisket (not the lean). Excellent BBQ. Had typical sides and they were good as well. In addition, on Friday and Saturday evenings there is live bands outside. Overall, this is a pretty cool setup and a great place.
