Far off the beaten paths the village of Calascio hides many treasures, This restaurant is truly delightful. The food is very authentic for the region and the ambiance is very simple but has a strong local feel. The meals are well priced given the location. I would recommend this restaurant on your next visit to the area.

Lupo was the only place open in town that Tuesday evening and when we go there it was full, so we waited 10 minutes or so outside (with a vino of course) and then were welcomed inside. The meal was lovely and I'll remember those great lamb kebabs for a long time - they are served in tens and presented at table in a clay pot. We also had a fabulous simple pizza and a half litre of locale. Walked out for 23e. Amazing. The cheapest dinner on the trip but one of the most memorable

In gruppo abbiamo pranzato una domenica con menù fisso. Il ristorante fa parte del complesso alberghiero che é nell'edificio. Le sale di ristorazione sono ampie, con vetrate sul paese, apparecchiate in maniera decorosa,arredamento senza troppi fronzoli e spartano. C'è anche una zona giochi dedicata ai bambini che mi fa supporre che il targhet della clientela é quello delle famiglie.Il servizio è stato abbastanza veloce anche perché con un menù fisso la cucina é preparata per tempo. Ho gradito molto il primo in brodo, visto anche la giornata piovosa, e i crostini in apertura. La carne in graticola era un po'asciutta e stopposa, sicuramente preparata prima e poi scaldata.Che dire un ristorante come tanti, manca un po' di calore e intimità .

I came with my family to this traditional Italian restaurant, The food was delicious and by far the best Italian restaurant in north london. As it was my fathers birthday, the staff brought up a desert and sang happy birthday,it was a great touch indeed. Will be back soon again.
