We are a neighborhood gathering place for good food, good beer, and good company. Bring the kids, bring the dog!
Our food and drinks were delicious. They serve beer and wine only. Our server was friendly and our food was served quickly. They have a large selection of beer to choose from ! Thanks for the review! Please tell us how we can earn 4 stars, we are always looking to improve!
Small hole in the wall place but THE best BBQ in the Seattle area and good value
Ordered the rib combo. For 13.95, I got enough ribs for two meals, along with some potato salad, beans, and a corn muffin. The beans tasted as though they had been liberally flavored with applesauce, and the potato salad was very mildly flavored. Neither were to my liking, but others may disagree. Corn muffin was pretty good. The ribs were large and meaty, and were served wet, in a Memphis/Georgia style of slightly spicy, tomato-based sauce. They were well cooked and flavorful. The staff, including the owner, were friendly enough that I would live to have been able to stay and visit awhile. I look forward to trying some of their other meats.
I wholeheartedly recomend taking burgers fries and shakes out of Smokey's burgers (there really isn't seating there so it's all takeout). The burgers are meaty and have a good mixture of condiments. They use thick french fries that I like and there shakes are thick and creamy--I believe they're made with ice cream not some space age goop.My only complaint is the state of their parking lot. Last winter I inadvertantly stepped into a 5" pothole in their parking lot. It instantly soaked my shoe, my sock, and my pant leg.If you can safely navigate the parking lot then go in to Smokey's Burgers and get a great taste of Americana.
