Unfortunately we arrived close to closing time and almost everything was sold out. Luckily we could get the brisket and added some baked beans to go....wow! The best brisket I have had in a very long time. We are traveling through and they are going on vacation for 11 days so I canât go back tomorrow. You can bet next time Iâm traveling through that I will stop to try the ribs and stew AND get some brisket to go! Very friendly staff, order at the counter, eat there or take home....just make sure you get some extra for tomorrow! Prices fair.

Sonny's BBQ of Brunswick. Southern BBQ at its finest. Slow-smoking favorites like pulled pork, ribs, brisket since 1968.
Table service was friendly and on point, restaurant was clean, food was served promptly and at the correct temps. Atmosphere was okay. Manager came around to check on our satisfaction, which is always appreciated. Recommend the baby back ribs (tender, no fat, knife not needed), bbq'd chicken and pulled pork (both also tender), garlic bread, mac and cheese (tasted homemade), cole slaw (mild, not overly sweet or sour), and potato salad (good texture, with a perfect blend of flavours). Of the four sauces provided, we liked best the original and sweet. The current (seasonal?) menu offered a bar-b-cuban and a brisket grilled cheese; those, along with corn nuggets and redneck egg rolls, are items on the list to try next time. There is also a salad bar. The only thing to bring to management's attention: Upon entering there were two employees at the bar area (with no patrons); neither looked at or spoke to us; this was a not-good first impression and something that could be immediately improved. Fortunately the food and server made up for this oversight.

2 friends and myself slipped into Twin Oaks for lunch this past Saturday after being recommended by the locals. We were greeted by our waitress, Linda, who later told us she has been employed there for 44 years! We all had the BBQ pork plate. I had twice done fried and slaw. Let me just say, the twice done fries are to die for! The pork was moist and very flavorful, their bbq sauce was amazing and the slaw had a good flavor. The food arrived hot and fast.Twin Oaks has a quaint atmosphere, friendly staff and excellent food. I highly recommend and will visit when I am in the area again.

Do not miss this stop. The food here is the best. The ambiance is lovely. My entire family agreed this was without a doubt the best ribs we ever had. Worth the trip for this great food. Food was great. We ate them without any sauce, the meat alone was succulent, most amazing ribs. The sauces were all excellent, we dipped texas toast in it, but meat was so juicy and indescribably good that you did not want to put sauce on it, meat was so good. Really truly amazing barbecue. Which is saying a lot in our family as we always eat good food and we are particular eaters. This restaurant's food was absolutely the best. Don't miss these ribs. Those are best ribs we have ever had.
