Blink and you will miss it! Only open June,July, and August this is basic good home produced food at bargain basement prices. They catch their own fish and in a mixed fish grill you will find smaller and more unusual fish than elsewhere, giving you some fantastic flavours. They make their own olive oil, wine and grappa. This place is alfresco dining on tables grouped round a shed. Great for families on a budget, buy some wine and grappa to take home too.

A small cosy place in the old part of town that serves fresh fish and seafood. Everything in this "konoba" is cooked on a charcoal grill. Dishes are served next to the fantastic olive oil from our production. The number of tables is small and its recommen
I have been visited this place with few friends. After a reservation we finally got a place there for the next day. It is strange that restaurant at 7pm was totally empty and people without reservation couldnât get a table. I donât understand ownerâs strategy. There is many better restaurants in Novigrad with much better and especially fresh food. If you are not sure where to go I would recomend Vecchio Mulino, Gatto Nero and Lungomare much more. If you have kids with you they have nothing to offer to the kids... Of course we have different taste so try and you will see...

authentic Istrian cuisine . homemade pasta , grilled meat , dishes under the baking lid, risotto and pizza from the wood-fired oven
A nice and welcoming atmosphere with a not so interesting menu.Sorry to say but needs a bit of work. The menu is a bit expensive but the taste of the food also needs a bit of work. Levelling the price to the quantity and quality is needed as fastest as possible. All in all I recommend this place just don't ask for extremes. Lp.

We decided to visit this restaurant after reading some good reviews on tripadvisor. What should i say, i expected that we would have nice dinner with good food. We choose homemade bakalar which was very tasty but the portion was big enough for two people not one, my friend has tipical sheep cheese which was ok. After i took scallops from grill and they ware old - smal and made in normal oil not in olive oil which was disgusting, she had pasta with proschuto - only oil no souce. The staff is nice and friendly but the food was not eatable. I'm sorry Konoba Nino that was the worst food we eated in this region.

Back yet again! We wouldnât feel our time in Istria would be complete without visiting our favourite restaurant. The food remains consistently excellent and if you fancy something different the chef is happy to prepare something just for you. The San Benedetto is always busy, a sign of how good it is so itâs best to book to avoid disappointment! See you all again soon, thank you Goran and team!

Astarea is family owned restaurant, specialized for fish and meat.Owner is taking the orders and his wife is preparing dish at the grill.Very pleasent restaurant with great atmosphere, it was full (there was several tables with friends and others with couples). We decided to try the fish, so we have taken for a starter, mixed plate with little bit of everything (octopus salat, bakalar pate, anchovies). It was very tasty. After this we has âriba ispod pekeâ and the main dish was really great (little bit of salt was missing, but this is easy to repair). We have taken also salat and we were drinking home wine. All in all, great dinner for 210hrk per person. When you count all things we have eaten, i would say that there was good ratio between price and service.
