Great place to stop and eat some delicious BBQ during a day of hunting or just passing through town. Moist smoked brisket with great sauce and good chicken, good regular potato salad, but they also have their house-special "pink" potato salad. We think it
Loved the Sunday special which was chicken or turkey and dressing with two sides for $9.99. Big portions and the best cornbread dressing ever. I had the side salad and fried okra.. both perfect. They throw a slice of white bread on top of the plate... wish it would have been a roll.Great tea, fast friendly service.Really enjoyed it all.Great menu ... go for it! Ps .. Park in the back..
I had a bacon wrapped pork loin that was delicious and almost more than I could eat. This man has been perfecting his smoking technique for years and has the art down to a science. Go early. Enjoy

Formerly Heart 8 bbq, cattlemanâs is under new management and the food was the best in years. Complimentary pinto beans with brisket are the best. Ribs were very tender and fell off the bone. Brisket was tender and reasonably smoked and sauce flavorful but not too sweet. Sausage was great. Potato salad was just ok. Too full for dessert. Had some outstanding peach flavored tea. Table service prompt and efficient.
