Things to do in Blato
Eat Like local. We offer homemade seafood and grilled meat, lamb and beef. We have homemade vegetables and fruits.
Visited here one warm day whilst exploring Korcula Island and we were glad we did.Located by the water, in what appeared to be a small village, we received great service from the waiter Alexander, the food was very tasty and was very well priced. The desserts were awesome, I wish I could remember what they were called, however it was local speciality recommended by Alexander.Worth a visit when driving around

Wir wollten hier Mitte September zum Essen hin. Anscheinend ist schon Saisonende und einige Lokale machen zu, vermerken das aber nicht im Netz. Diese auch, nicht einmal ein Hinweis an der StraÃe.

Dinner here was a highlight of our time in Vela Luka, and even our whole Croatian trip. We sat out in their lovely courtyard, with vines and climbing flowers draping the walls, and watched as they grilled our meals on the huge open grill. And the food was simply amazing: the tomato salad starter was simple, but so tasty, while the mackerel and lamb mains were both superb.Top that off with some friendly, but not over-bearing, service and some nice local wines and you have the perfect evening.Do bear in mind, itâs cash only.

We love this restaurant. Have been coming back here for forty two years. It is in an almost underground cellar with antique spears and memorabilia from ancient times. Cobble stone floors and antique wares everywhere. As for the food, it is extremely authentic Croatian food. Nothing is too great to ask and staff are extremely friendly. Yes, must
Bajko is a family owned, quite isolated from the hustle of the town, with pleasant and lovely atmosphere, serving freshly caught fish and sea food, and traditionally prepared wild boar goulash with gnocchi.Open daily 18-24hrs, from 10.June-15.September.
Visited Bajko end of Aug 2016. I like the setting, as it is not very crowded and tables are set far apart, as they should be. Service was very fast, we had fresh grilled fish, and cevapcici. Bread is home made, and we finished first basket even before food arrived. We also had red table vine, and it was superb, complementing the fish well. Restrooms were clean and well appointed.I definitely recommend visiting this place and having a proper, fresh mea

I went there even if I read before some really bad reviews. After I tired I can state that negative reviews are correct. Price too high for a Croatian traditional restaurant. We ate a grilled mix of pork and a tiny appetizer taste of Dalmatian ham and cheese (ricotta). Anything special. Grilled meat poor with liver inside not agreeable. One litre of local red wine (poor quality) . Total sum : 280kn !Too much for the place, too much for the food and too much for the quality and quantity. Therefore I can put a whole negative review ! Try if you want BUT donât expect much ! Above all small quantity and anything addition is on pay ! Ask for the menu with prices before starting ! Ah, one worst comment more: long waiting for all that !
