The owner is such a nice guy! We where so impressed with the huge amount of passionfruits that covers the pretty entrance/shaddow gazebo. He noticed and kindly showed us all kinds of things they grow in their beautifull well kept garden, from pineapple and passionfruit to papaya. He even gave us some papaya from their garden to take with us.The view is so wonderfull, you can overlook the riceterraces on one side, and the front and other side is their beautifull garden, attracting spectaculair butterflies!The food took some time to prepare, because everything was freshly made! It was so delicious! And so were the passionfruit drinks! Just look at the pictures and judge for yourself! ;)

On the side of the road on the way up to Strawberry Hill, Lake Buyan and many other local attractions is a road side market. One of the small warungs is Cak Man and he makes the absolutely most delicious sate kambing in all of Bali.Be sure to save a bite or two or buy a few dozen more than you can eat and share with some of the local puppies which were meandering around the lot while we shopped. There were about a dozen small stores, booths, warungs and meal carts in this market and this was without a doubt the best food out of all of them!English was an issue but both times I was there a customer stepped up and assisted with the translation to ensure I got the dozens of sate kambing I wanted.Normally I would never say something like this, but there were two different people cooking and I can assure you the older gentlemen is the better cook.

I was looking for a good dinner nearby and found Alam De Ubud down the street from where I'm living! The service was impeccable â Tutik was my server and was fantastic. She was nice, friendly, quite accommodating and provided many recommendations. The food (crispy duck) was delicious and the place itself is beautifully set along Ubud's rice fields. Check them out for breakfast, lunch or dinner!Dear Value Customer, Thank you for taking your time to made this review.
