This restaurant is part of a public market in a somewhat newly renovated area of town thats convenient with lots of paid 0parking. Staff was friendly and efficient although it wasn't busy at the time. Brisket nachos had hardly any brisket and the additional taste of brisket was dry. Burnt ends were also dry lacking flavor. We asked for a taste of ribs since they have a taste of brisket and pork but no....couldn't be done...don't know what the big deal is ....there are 12 ribs to a slab....why not just cut off three....oh well company policy trumps customer service everytime!

I have eaten here at least 30 times. They have classic pizza as well as many unique pizzaâs. If you like pizza and beer, this is the place to go. Try to go on off hours. It can get crazy during high volume times.

At The Green Well, weâre dishing up something better: different food and beverage offerings, a different standard of service and quality, and a higher expectation of what dining out should be. Donât just settle for âjust fine.â Weâre more than just âmeh.â

My server was also the bartender and his name was Josh and he was the very BEST!!! He knew all the foods and drinks and had a super personality!!! He should be in charge of this place!!!! Beer: excellent Food: goodAmbiance: this place is loud. The hostess couldnât hear what I was saying, nor could the server. And I couldnât hear themService: awful. I was ignored for about ten minutes and was about to leave when a different server noticed that no one had been to my table. I noticed other diners also constantly looking for their server. One gentleman got up from his table and walked to the bar to get a beer after waiting for a while.

We had brunch at the Old Goat on a recent Sunday morning. The food was superb! the bread board was fabulous, love the $4 mimosas! Great menu and our server Adam was very knowledgeable about the menu and the restaurant. The live music was nice and not intrusive to conversation. The chicken waffle sandwich was something to dream about. The Old Goat is worth a trip to Grand Rapids!

49 Drafts, 250+ bottles -- all craft beer, plus food you mom would make if she loved craft beer.
Stopped in for a quick lunch and was pleased with the excellent quality of the food. The service was a little lacking; our server rarely checked-in and seemed more interested in chatting with her co-workers. Still, would come back because the food was so good!

This is a great place to go with a bunch of friends to watch a major sports event together. The beer is always cold, and the servers make sure you are never thirsty. Lots of tables, many TV screens, and a sit down bar area designed for mingling makes this always a fun stop.

Overlooking the brewing facilities, our Taproom allows customers a look into where the beer magic happens. Itâs a great testing ground for us, and on any particular day you will find numerous products on draft available only at Founders. The unique offeri
We stopped by on an early evening on a Saturday so we weren't sure if we would get seated. We found two spots at the bar and were quite comfortable. It's a large place, but well laid out. Both of the beers were tried were great, and we had their appetizer special, pork carnitas nachos for a snack it was quite delicious. They even brought out more beer cheese sauce so we could finish the chips we had left. Our bartender was friendly and did a great job with us. We will definitely be back to try more of their beers. Very impressed!Elizabeth S.,Thank you for your kind words! Saturday mornings can be a bit crazy, so I'm glad you were able to quickly find a seat and enjoy some delicious, locally produced adult beverages! Next time you swing by I recommend you try one of our beer flights. That way you'll be able to try a few more options on our extensive taplist :)Thanks again, and we hope to see you back soon!-DJ

Butcher's Union is one of several good restaurants clustered together in Grand Rapids West Side neighborhood. It's casual and rustic interior felt very welcoming.I was seated in what reminded me of a European style courtyard, with it's exposed ceiling. Perfect on a nice summer evening. As you might expect from the restaurant's name, the menu has some serious meat dishes, that included a variety of steak cuts. There's also a few seafood dishes, along with soups, salads and sharable starters. Several items caught my attention including the Bacon Wrapped Meatloaf and Beef Stroganoff. The dish I chose was the Butter Roasted Salmon with lemon caper baby shrimp. It was a real winner. The Salmon was perfectly cooked and flavorful, as was the shrimp. A Chocolate Pot De Cream for dessert completed my meal. Portions are good and prices are mid to high. Butcher's Union has a full bar, I went old school and ordered a Stroh's beer. Wonderful staff. Can't say enough about the service I received. If you're driving, you'll most likely have to pay for parking. No too expensive.I wish I had this Butcher in my neighborhood. A really enjoyable meal.
