Refreshing to have a business lunch spot with consistent great healthy copious food. Been here a few times during business trips to Toronto. The large salads with proteins are fresh, well seasoned and always a tasty add on protein. Service is accommodating and attentive. Some spots are noisy but overall great ambience.

First time visitor and was immediately impressed with the outside patio, especially considering the location in the plaza. The overall atmosphere was fun and the place was comfortable. Service was very good and our food was also. Good portions and in my opinion reasonably priced drinks. Will certainly revisit.

Good atmosphere! For the meal, I tried the ribs with slaw & fries; here's my take:Slaw - rated D- Yes, barely passing. It's just shredded cabbage. The other guys get at least a "C" for simply paying attention. With just a modicum of dressing, I could raise the rating to a C- .Ribs - rated B- The "A" players insist upon pork that falls off the bone. My opinion is that these ribs came off the food service truck.Fries - WOW - A+ Seriously. What a great combination of taste & texture. Crisp, undulated exterior with appropriate seasoning & a pleasing core. They should offer these as a sandwich. Really. I've never had fries like this before. Don't *even* reach for the ketchup -- they're *that* good.

How disappointing. I specifically went to this restaurant as a result of memories of a salmon I had here once. They did not have that so I ventured to have their fish tacos. It was awful. The fish had zero seasoning other than the topping. A bland taco- who would have thought? Apparently it is possible. As it's side kick, a lonely boiled broccoli was served in a sterile white bowl in a puddle of water. Again zero seasoning. We used to come to this location often for many years. We moved to Barrie and now frequent that location. We have never in 14 years had a bad or mediocre meal at either location. Stopped in tonight on the way home from TO. Must have hit an off night tonight because our ribs were dry & overcooked. My daughter's apples & fries were lukewarm. Disappointed as it was a very expensive ($175) mediocre meal. Probably should have sent it all back but didn't. On the positive side, our server Kyle was great. I would like to begin by apologizing for the unfortunate experience that you and your family had here at our establishment. I went there on a Friday night. There was a 45 minute weight so we sat at the bar. One of the servers had ash tray breath. GROSS!!! We ended up getting seated in 20 minutes, which was good. It was soooo dark in there. I kind of like to see my food when I'm eating it. I had to use the flashlight from my smartphone to read the menu. The food was okay. Although there was very little green onion on the top of the nachos, I wish they added diced onions to it to up the flavour because they were kind of bland. The crispy cauliflower bites were amazing!!! You must try those. Do NOT bother with the apple crisp. It was lukewarm in the middle and the top was burnt- I had to send it back. As for the noise, there was a live band in the restaurants- why? It was already busy and the atmosphere was already poppin. I could NOT hear my friends so we left. I noticed that the place started to empty out because no one could hear their mates. I would reconsider this choice if I were the management. Sabrina was a great server. The service was really good.

Decided to go to jack astors on Saturday and watch the hockey game and grab some pub food. The food was good and the service was very good. Televisions everywhere and there is not a bad seat in the house. We had a great time and the crowd of people was really a great mix.

We went there for my wife's birthday on May 18th. We have 3 children, 9, 5, 8 month old. Atmosphere was great. My two older kids enjoyed the kids menu. Our choice of meat was exquisite and tasteful. Everyone had a great time. Service was amazing and friendly. We were able to bring our won birthday cake which they served. Honestly, it was a great experience. Tonight we decided to spend our anniversary dinner at the Keg. As always the food was delicious plentiful and hot. The service was excellent and the establishment has a really nice ambience. The place was almost full and it was a gorgeous evening. We sat near the open windows and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.Salina was one of our servers and was very polite, friendly and efficient. She used to be a hostess and now is an excellent server.Great bay for an wonderful dinner.We usually frequent this establishment once a month and will continue to do so.Thanks for the sparkler and cake.

A small free standing roadhouse that looks like a shack located in the middle of nowhere on a main street. Blink when you drive by and you'll surely miss it. Somewhat limited parking available in rear. Very limited seating inside perpetuating the backwoods ambiance even more. Behind the counter and wait staff are extremely friendly, always smiling,making you feel welcome. Our Mini Combos were huge hits each consisting of four melt in your mouth, fall off the bone, meaty BBQ ribs covered in the house sauce. Six golden brown, crispy BBQ wings accompany the ribs. Each order also came with golden brown fries, crispy on the outside, mealy on the inside, a cup of baked beans, a cup of coleslaw and a slice of corn bread. Continuously busy, so table wait times may be long. Will definitely be returning here.
