Called in our our way to do the Mt Kembla Loop Walk for a quick bite, only to stumble on the Fathers Day menu. A great selection with reasonable pricing, for what was on offer. Way above standard pub fare, even though we didn’t have a booking, they were booked out and we ate in the bar; staff & the food weee great.

Dagwood Wine Bar

Checked out this place and got some dinner. It was starting to get a little busy when we got there about about 7pm. I tried a cocktail and husband a few beers he hadn't seen before. We ordered a few things to share. Buffalo wings, pulled pork burger, duck steamed buns and a chicken taco. The steamed buns were the best. So light and delicious. The burger was good but messy. Wings were OK. Weren't as crunchy as they could have been. Didn't stay there long. Food was good and had a cool vibe to the place.

Well the decor is casual like a cafe but there is a pretty good bar on the left that serves some interesting beers, the burgers are very good (the chips were awesome - the seasoning made them). Then there was the guy sin the corner playing guitar, so what was originally just a quick bite to east became a longer bite to eat, with a few bevvies and a chat. Will go back. Thanks for the great review. We are glad you enjoyed it and stayed a little longer then planned.

A fun night- enjoyed last weekend. We visited with friends to find an excellent atmosphere. Great food options and bar- a lovely relaxing atmosphere, great music- where you can talk to one another comfortably without having to shout over blaring music. Fantastic roof top bar area that would be fantastic to enjoy over Summer. We sat in the cosy bar and had a great time.

I rocked up at 11am on a Sunday, the place was only half full, wait staff couldn't have been more friendly to me, got me seated and had handed me a menu and taken my coffee order within a minute of arriving. My coffee came within 3 or 4 minutes, which was pretty tasty, and the waitress took my order then & there. I had my meal within about 10 minutes, although on a lazy Sunday I was in no rush and wouldn't have minded if it took longer.I went for the Santiago, a mix of eggs and pulled pork and salsa and morcilla (Spanish sausage) thick bread, and I ordered a side of smoked salmon. Everything was amazing and very filling. I could've had a whole place of the morcilla, it was that good. I could see myself coming back again.

Loved the tapas menu, all the offerings were tasty. Great to sit up on the balcony and watch the action in the mall. Good cocktail list, the only problem is that they missed one of our tapas orders and still charged us- we didn;t work it out till we got home!
